My Husband had Shoulder Surgery by you few Yrs ago He was very Pleased . Fast Forward Few Yrs , In January he made an apt came in and seen DR Tingstad . Was given Options , As we waited for an MRI pre Approval , Almost two months went by , We Placed calls to the office . It took days to get call backs , When we did get a Call back we were told Blue Cross would not approve the MRI . We were told BC was not our Primary ,, They are our Primary , We have been in contact Jenny Houser and we are Getting NO WHERE as she keeps telling us that BC will not approve it , BC Tells us we will approve it , This is Getting old . No reason for My Husband to have to deal with this going on over two Months now . We really don't want to switch Doctors as Dr Tingstad is awesome But this is getting a little Bit out of hand . The Doctor needs to know what is Happening up in the front desk . A Reply would be nice or a Call from DR TINGSTAD ..
My daughter was misdiagnosed for a unstable shoulder. The dr said she needed to strengthen it and prescribed PT. He gave her a cheap brace that he said she didn’t have to pay for. She was already going to PT but was told her shoulder was to unstable to strengthen. She went to a surgeon at UW and was told her shoulder was so unstable it fell out of socket at every angle. She had surgery and needed 5 bone anchors to secure it, since she has had her other shoulder done for the same reason. She has NPS and has had 16 surgeries on her bones and joints. This was over his head. Instead of admitting it he just misdiagnosed her. He took the easy way out with PT and a brace. Well done doc. Since we have been harassed by his office to pay for the brace that he told her would be free. No doubt price was jacked up 1000% because it was expensive and extremely cheap. In fact she never even wore and wouldn’t of taken it if it wasn’t supposedly a gift. Her 2 surgeries done at UW were very successful.
Dr. Tingstad called me at home prior to my shoulder surgery to inquire about how I was doing and if there was anything he could do. I don’t remember many details about the the surgery itself but he was present as soon I regained consciousness with reassuring words. He checked on me the following day and then released me. The day following my release he called me at home to see how I was doing. Big thumbs up for Dr. Tingstad.
I came to see him--he gave me an unloading brace--what a blessing. Then I chickened out of my steroid shot, but was told they understood and I could drop in at a later date if the pain became to much--I did that and could not get in then two appointments were made which could not be kept do to their error--then they said I could come in on the day I was suppose to leave for a trip--I would lose all of my money for the reservations I had made--unfair to say the least--one appointment was for a Thurs @ 4 pm I showed and there was still someone ahead of me who had not been seen and their appointment was at 315 I could not stay--I told them when I made the appointment I would be leaving work and could not hang out for hours--so they scheduled me an appointment for the next Monday but I got a call saying they could not see me then either--this shot takes two minutes to administer--I realize I was the one who chickened out of the first one , but the way I have been treated since is unacceptable--is it because my insurance is through Molinas? because you are going to be reimbursed by State Farm as well plz explain to me what I have to do to be treated like a human being!

Our family can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Tingstad and his staff. What a blessing he is to this community and especially to our family! I have three athletic active sons and wouldn't put their care in anyone else's hands.
He explained everything to me in great detail.
I have worked with Tingstad over the last ten years. He first did emergency surgery on my right ankle after I fell and broke it in five places. He has followed up as I developed arthritis in my knees. We just completed a total knee replacement. He has explained everything that he wanted to do and gave me my options. During pre-op came in and was very reassuring. He even asked if I would like to have a prayer by him. A very caring and conscientious person.
I received arthroscopic surgery on my knee to remove debris and clean arthritis deposits. Dr. Tingstad was extremely competent in his diagnosis and surgical procedures. Before and after surgery I received the best patient care I have ever had. I had a lengthy pre-surgery visit by Dr. Tingstad and the same after surgery. My wife and I were served breakfast immediately after in the recover room, as well as all the juice we cared for. Unfortunately I am well qualified to make the above statement, having previously had orthopedic procedures at UCLA medical Center, Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Loma Linda in California and Kerlan Jobe in California. All of these facilities are considered to be top of the line facilities and utilized by professional athletes.
So glad I went to Dr. Tingstad! After several doctors he was the only person who figured out what was causing my knee pain post surgery. He was always very courteous and answered all questions I had. He made sure I knew the issue and provided me with several options for treatment.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
