Checked into the ER and was just recently out of spinal surgery. Doctor how had them put hot packs on my neck. They were very uncertain how to take care of me

I have a serious heart condition went to Gritman ER with chest pain. Waited hours to see Dr Howe, not an ER doctor. Was ignored, not treated, discharged from ER with chest pain. A horrible experience. The nurses were rude and ignorant as was the doctor. Received a huge inflated bill for services not provided. Go to Gritman only after you are dead!

Just did not listen to me, went off in a different direction when I tried to communicate with him regarding what was going on in my child's health. Spent very little time with me, he seem to decided what was wrong without hearing me out.

Saw him at local ER, he didn't ask the right question's, never saw him after I check-in, the young staff nurse that was a "ER nurse' in my professional opinion was not a er nurse or she went to Walla Walla community college where to my personal knowledge has not put out one qualified ER nurse. the regional hospital's in north Central Idaho are hiring them because they are much cheaper to pay they a well trained hospital....never saw the Dr. Howe who is listed else where as a "Family MD"...Not a "ER MD"..nor the "ER Nurse" until I pulled the cord to tell them I was leaving...my saline solution bag had been empty for 45 minutes by then. When I got the bill it was so padded with extra's. I have a medical condition that I have been in there before, I could see the doctor could not understand what was going on, so I told him specifically what was going on and that he should look at my records to see how the treatment was handled the last 5 or 6 times....he ran so many unnecessary tests as well as the bill for procedures that were not done. This is the 2nd time I got billed for procedures that were not done at the medical center! I rat them Poor for this visit...the excuse was that they were busy..."none to serious"from what a male staff member told when I was getting ready too leave.

Dr Howe is an incredible physician. He is attentive and thorough. I no longer live in the Moscow area (moved two years ago) and miss him greatly! The other doctors in his group were also very compotent and kind. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Howe is a knowledgeable, able doctor who actually listens to your complaint, and is willing to go the extra mile with you. I am VERY picky about docs, and Howe is one of my top 3 in my area of 50,000 people. I trust him. What else do you need?
