Assisting Hands's Online Review Report Card

Wow went and picked up my W2 and no one knew where they were first off. Then I had to pick it up cause apparently it was sent back when they handed it to me it was in the mailing envelope with a stamp and the return sticker. Funny thing was it it was opened as well seems weird considering it’s illegal to open someone’s mail. When I began doing my taxes I realized that nothing was taken out from state or federal. I find this extremely frustrating considering I took a picture of how I filled out my W4 when I got hired and I choose to have the most taken out of my checks and claimed 0 for everything. This company is just made up of people who aren’t qualified to do the jobs they have. Basic stuff gets messed up constantly especially in payroll and obviously who ever deals with new hire paperwork. Pretty sure the company doesnt even have an actual accountant or recruiter on there payroll. Maybe one day they will figure out how to run an actual thriving business oh and actually hire someone for HR.

I dont care about the employees in Nampa Idaho never had a good experience with them but the Boise Office the ladys are professional and so sweet I highly recommend the Boise Office have been with them for a year and a half very satisfied they really care about there clients as well as employees but remember the Boise office not Nampa.

Somebody I know was just recently fired from another location after continuously taking verbal and emotional abuse from a lady in this office by the name of Julianna. But it does not stop there. She has been working there for about two years now and and has also taken the same abuse abuse from others in the company such as a lady named Cheryl. Along with that abuse and her making some complaints and no reprocussions towards any of the other parties they decided to fire her instead. And shame on the other girls working in the office in the location she was working for not sticking up for her. You guys said you cared yet you let that company walk over her. Hope your proud of yourselves. As for the rest we will be taking matters above you and take the proper actions to hopefully make sure you dont continue to create hostile work environments and playing favoritism.

If you want to work with this company DO NOT I am speaking for myself and other caregivers experience. During this whole COVID19 pandemic you see how your business treats people. I have way to much knowledge on this company. I was a caregiver and I hav dealt with way to much unprofessional from the accountant Juliana. I have needed my paystub twice and she has waited weeks to send it to me not days There was another instant with another caregiver that she was screaming in the office at someone. Professional to you? Not to me It doesnt help that her sister nephew and husband also works in that office This is a big deal in that office and they obviously show favoritism None of them should be working there as none of them do their job The only person I have seen to be professional is Mckenzi. I feel sorry for anyone who has to work with that family and I feel sorry for anyone wanting to have a jobI am writing this review as a caregiver who has worked with this company long enough to see how toxic it is So GLAD NOT TO BE WORKING here I found a way better company to work for. That pays me more too

To preface my negative review...this company  DID come through in an emergency and were very nice on the phone. They found one girl who worked limited hours per day. In the several weeks we used them they never ever tried to find anybody else who could work for us full time. The gal they had come while my mother was so sick stole $175 several Temperpedic pillows some Christmas ornaments and a bunch of Costco baby wipesshe had just had a baby. We even got the police involved but Assisting Hands refused to address this issue.Assisting Hands refused to reach out to my mothers insurance company as they promised resulting in a delay of months for reimbursement. They padded the invoices with extra hours. They are disorganized and unprofessional. If you use them keep very good records and lock up your valuables

I have had a lot of experience with this company...they leave a lot of their clients high and dry without saying a word to them and some of these clients are high risk clients and for the most part the office people are really scatter brained and dont keep in touch with their staff and and clients..they have too many clients for such little staff. I highly recommend not taking your elderly family members there

Horrible unprofessional business My wife was hired and then fired the next day for absolutely NO REASON Stated she was the perfect candidate and didnt do anything wrong but yet the wife didnt want her working with the husband Nate so they fired her .We have contacted the BBB and are filing a lawsuit Save your money and go to a better business God wouldnt stand by this behavior and neither should you. Wow what a great company. Trent the office manager is awesome. He really cares about the elderly and the caregivers. The other office staff are great too. They are always cheerful and willing to go the extra mile.If you are looking for a great home care company this is it

Assisting hands shows no caring abilities towards its employees... They will literally hire anybody without conducting the proper background checks. Beware of who they send into your loved ones homes.
