Doctor Aguilar is the best pediatrician!

My wife and I called 1 month before our child was born to set an appointment for our Son once we walked born as my wife was a patient of Dr Aguilar when she was a kid. They told us he was limited and selective in the new patients he took on but because she was a patient he would be excited to see her as a mom as well as to see the new baby and to call when he was born. St Luke has a policy to have a visit set up before leaving the hospital. When we called to get it sorted, the extremely rude and curt staff told us he was no longer taking on any new patients and refused to hear our story of a last conversation the month prior. We are now sitting in the ER with our 3 day old with no pediatrician. While I can’t say anything poor about Dr. Aguilar as a provider or a person as I’ve never seen him, I can say his staff is not only worthless but so rude to the point of reckless. Great doctors can be ruined by poor staff. In this instance as we sit in the ER, we are committed to steering everyone we can away from this practice. Be advised, you’re baby is just a number and not a person or a patient and you will be left helpless as we were. Dr Herndon (completely different practice) immediately took us on and was woefully apologetic of our circumstances despite having nothing to do with him. We recommend Dr Herndon.

Has been our pediatrician for 7 years and he's one in a million amazingEST dr on the planet! He genuinely loves my daughter and gives her exceptional care. Would never go anywhere else.

Very caring and informative pediatric, he's professional and take the time to listen to every concern I've had regarding my child's health. Being a first time parent every little thing was the end of the world but Dr.Aguilar was always there to reassure me that my son was in great health and if he did have a mild cold/flu or ear infection he would inform me on what medications he was going to prescribe. I never left his office with questions, truly someone who loves their profession.

Dr aguilar has been my daughters doctor since she was born. I love how nice he is and the funny things he says...but the more I went to him, the more I realized that he says generic things about her because he doesnt really remember who she is. Also, I rated down the staff because they dont know who we are either. Granted, she has an odd name, its a family Danish name and its spelled weird, but honestly, they have seen her for appts at least 15 times, and EVERY TIME, they either say her name wrong, or they are surprised that she is female...I mean really,,, make a note on the chart for goodness sakes. Its important to me to feel like I am known to them, and that they know her as well, and I dont feel that way.

Dr. Aguilar is the only pediatrician I trust with my kids. He is well educated, kind and gentle and extrememly thorough.

Dr Aguilar is a wonderful doctor. He takes a personal interest in our children and family. He is very caring and thorough in explaining procedures. He makes sure to provide all the information necessary for us as parents to make informed decisions for our children's care.
