I have been dealing with Knee problems for years, and finally got it checked out. He sent me to get an MRI, and a few days later found the problem. Within 2 weeks of my first appointment I had surgery. He did a fantastic job, and now I am mostly pain free. Great doctor that gets straight to the point, and does a great job at giving you different options for treatment

Went into Doctor Allen with some massive shoulder pain and i had that pain for a very long time, Doc. Allen looked it over and suspected could be a torn rotator. Went in and had all the imaging done and found it was in deed a torn rotator. Doc Allen went over what that meant and what i was to expect and options i had at that point. Decision was to go in for rotator surgery. I have to say this was one of the most informative Doctors I have ever dealt with and was exactly on point with was was going to be and how I may feel. I would recommend Doctor Allen and his staff to anyone with shoulder pain and if i ever needed any thing done on my knee I would for sure go see Doc. Allen I would no without a doubt I would be taken care of. ( my shoulder surgery was 2 years ago and at this current time my shoulder that Doc. Allen repaired is by far stronger than my other ) Thanx Doctor Allen

Dr. Allen was amazing! My son had a ski accident and tore his ACL and Meniscus. Dr. Allen was able to get a surgery date 2 weeks earlier than another surgeon we were seeing. He explained everything very clearly so my son understood what was expected. I am very pleased with the care my son received. I would definitely recommend Dr. Allen to anyone!

Dr Allen is very arrogant. I constantly have to remind him what procedure he did on me. He comes in talking at me and I have to stop him and say nooo that’s not what you did to me, it was this. When I told him I was in a lot of pain he asked why my pain pills weren’t working (probably because he wrote the dose as if for a child) and then proceeded to ask me if I sat home and did meth and heroin all day. He won’t even glance at my chart or my work requirements or my notes. I don’t feel like my answers were adequately answered (why does my knee still hurt? Well it’s because I did this procedure on you. Ummm no you didn’t, you did this procedure. Ok well then it’s because you’re not trying hard enough to stretch and succeed in physical therapy.) I’m sorry but this doc is a nightmare, I get terrible anxiety before every appt, just knowing what he’s like and what I’m going to have to deal with. He also kept telling me that “since I wasn’t an athlete” whatever way we repaired my joint would be fine. I’m sorry bro just because I’m not an athlete doesn’t mean I don’t live an active life and deserve your best work. Never ever again.

Dr Allen was phenomenal. I had a really bad knee injury that I had been living with (unfixed) for at least 8 years. After seeing him once I was advised I needed surgery to fix the issues, within one month I had an mri, pre-op appointment and was scheduled for surgery. That time frame was phenomenal considering it wasn’t urgent. Before surgery he checked in with me and reexplained everything that was going to happen and before you know it I was awake and learning to use my crutches. I healed very nicely and now I’m doing things I haven’t been able to do in 8 years, or ever (I’m 26 years old). I highly recommend him and his staff and Bingham in general!He also gave me a great, cozy blanket that really made my recovery that much better!

After injuring my right knee at work it was determined that a meniscus root repair would be required. Dr. Allen was highly recommended so I made the appointment. I have been in the customer service business for 25 years so I tend to notice not only bad service, but exceptional service as well. So the day of my appointment arrived and it only took a moment to be impressed. The workmans comp paperwork was already in order and almost instantly I was taken to the exam room. Dr. Allen had my MRI on a screen and confidently and simply explained , also using a model, what had happened and what needed done to fix it. Now I don't know for sure but I think he scheduled my surgery a lot sooner than he could have because he knew I was trying to get back to work. The surgery went well and I have to say that 3 months into it my knee feels significantly better than it did before the injury. I am very pleased with the results as well as the experience of working with the staff. I am bad with names but the nurse went way above the call of duty with providing a constant stream of paperwork to my employer, and was efficient and very kind in doing so. I would 100% recommend Dr. Allen and his staff to anyone and everyone!
