Cody Martin's Online Review Report Card

I posted earlier and rated Dr. Martin lower. I didn't feel like I had the best appointment with him but I received a call from him this morning and he apologized for misunderstandings and explained what his plan was for me. I didn't feel like I had been given a plan so I felt like I needed to move on. I really appreciate that he took the time to call me and explain.

I fell, broke my hip, and crawled to my phone. Dr. Martin fixed me up with a total hip replacement. He and his team did a wonderful job and I am pleased with my progress. I am grateful for his excellent skills and am impressed with the conscientious and cheerful support staff at Portneuf Medical Center. Center..."Mom"

Very knowledgeable, professional and very kind. Office staff and Nurse are very kind and professional in their duties. The office is clean and comfortable.

When i needed a knee replacement many people around me said use this ortho and that ortho But there is not one ortho in the Pocatello area that i did not on top of the positive reviews here negative as i did my research I had been referred to dr martin from my primary care provider and as i began asking drs and nurses what their thoughts were i received nothing but exceptional reviews On my first visit to Dr martin i found him energetic and fairly young and found he had been practicing for 5 years or so I mentioned the reviews I'd heard about him and that being fairly new at medicine that i felt he would be trained on the latest robotics And he made a good point that you dont want someone too young lol without the field experience but new enough that they are on top of their game with the latest equipment I was very very pleased with the prep for the surgery- His nurse is very pleasant an good with follow up and accessibility Also cute- but as an old guy i can say that Old age and treachery over come youth and skill any time lol But i am very serious when i say you will not be disappointed with Dr Martin and his staff!! His PA very sharp My recovery was amazing- I fix hot tubs and did my first service call within 2 weeks of my surgery I think that is not recommended actually im sure that is not recommended but I did and was able to kneel during my work within 5 weeks I won't hesitate to have the other knee done when time Have referred family and friends in the 10 weeks I am very glad i was referred to and stayed with this Dr and his staff!!

Dr. Martin and his staff are caring professionals. They took the time to listen to me and discus with me treatment options.

Doctor Martin was wonderful plus all his staff. My husband had to have both his knees replaced. We did one at a time and he was very patient with us and explained everything very well for us to understand. Each procedure improved my husbands knees tremendously. He now has almost full motion in both knee caps again and has almost no pain in them. We cannot thank him enough for the great improvement he has done for my husband.

Dr. Martin was absolutely wonderful and followed up with me personally after my surgery. I would highly recommend him for any knee surgery. He was amazing.

My son and I are so thankful for Dr. Martin's skill, experienced staff, and surgical expertise. We met Dr. Martin and Shawn Jensen in the ER after my son was injured in an accident. Dr. Martin repaired my son's femur immediately following the accident in an emergency surgery and Shawn performed follow-up visits during my son's hospital stay and the medical office. Both were very professional, compassionate toward my son, and were eager to answer all of his questions and provide valuable advice. I felt they really cared about the outcome of his overall health and were willing to do whatever was needed to ensure my son had the information, referrals, and tools he needed to make a full recovery. Dr. Martin didn't sugar coat anything and was very upfront about the procedure and expectations. These gentleman worked as a great team at a very scary time for my family and I couldn't be more thankful.

I was a patient of Dr. Martin at Northern Arizona Orthopedics in Prescott, AZ. I saw him complaining of knee pain and mild-to-moderate knee disability. He sent me to radiology for knee imaging, listened carefully to my history, and offered me three options: surgery, steroid injections, or rest and self-healing. After listening to the pros and cons he stated for each option, I chose self-healing. I went from hiking 500 mi/yr when healthy to 250 mi/yr while feeling pain to 50 mi/year for the past year. Just hiked 20 miles in a week with lots of ups and downs on slickrock and scree in the Sedona, AZ area, and my knee feels great. Kudos to Doc Martin for giving me options and affirming my choice.
