Dr. Ford gave me both a knee and hip replacement. Before having these surgeries, I had some in-trepidation, because I had known several relatives and friends, who had very difficult recoveries following such surgeries. My experience with Dr. Ford could not have been better. My recovery from the two surgeries was short and considerably better than I anticipated. Dr. Ford was extremely thorough and his staff was very helpful in following up with my progress. I can highly recommend Idaho Sports and Spine and Dr. Ford.

My husband was seen by Dr Ford on Sept. 9th, 2022. My husband is disabled and insured by Medicare and Medicaid. We started receiving bills from this office. My husband called and ask if they had billed both insurances to which he was told yes. I just recieve a notice from a collection agent so my husband called his insurance to find out the one was never billed but this office lied and said they did then sent us to collection. And after seeing this review they called my husband and told him it was not their fault for not billing his insurace that it was his for not giving them an insurance card that he gave them during the visit. This is extremely bad business practices.

Dr. Ford's hip replacement was a huge success. His skillful anterior approach makes for less down time and little pain. He explained the procedure and followed up well. Such a relief to have the pain gone and be active again.

Dr. Ford did a terrific job, and because he uses the anterior procedure my down time was almost nil, and it was nearly painless. I was home the same afternoon and feeling good. After a couple of weeks I was able to do all my normal activities, which include walking our mountainous road with our dog, bending, carrying, etc. And all without the pain that had plagued me the last year. Dr. Ford explained the procedure and treatment and it was clear that he is excited about this particular anterior hip replacement surgery. The office staff were pleasant and accommodating , as were all of the medical professionals at Portneuf, the day of my surgery. What a wonderful fix!

Dr. Ford is not only an excellent surgeon, but a very patient and kind person. He took time to explain everything to me and answer all of my questions. He was understanding and encouraging. My knee is healing extremely well and when it comes time for my other knee I will definitely be going back to him.

Excellent experience, I will recommend him to everyone I know and I'm considering him for my knee replacement. I traveled from Central Florida to have him do my hip replacement.

Not being from Pocatello, I believe it heaven-sent to have landed in the care of Dr. Gregory Ford after breaking my hip. His skill and expertise are exceptional. His state-of-the-art practices instilled confidence at a time when I was most vulnerable. Dr. Ford has standout people skills. His low-pressure bedside manner is refreshing. He listens, addresses individual needs, and acts in the patient's behalf. I have truly reaped the benefits of being treated by this gifted surgeon.

Doctor Ford has been great! He did an excellent job on my ACL surgery and has been great for all my follow up appointments. The only reason I’m not giving him 5 stars is because every appointment is around 1.5-2 hours long, and I only see Dr. Ford for about 30 minutes of the visit. The wait time is ridiculous. The office has to double or triple book appointment slots for the wait to be this long. I am glad I picked doctor Ford to do my surgery but I dread my follow up appointments because I know that I will spend so much time sitting and waiting.
