Usually if you need to see your doctor, you already feel not the best and perhaps feeling vulnerable. Dr Fernandez listens with compassion, asks specific questions, and discusses his thoughts with you during your visit. He helps you work with him to help you heal. At the least you always feel more optimistic and in good hands. And he is very open about answering your questions even if they seem silly! He was the first doctor I saw when I discovered I had breast cancer- he took charge and made me feel supported by setting up surgery and biopsy concerns. We are lucky he is here.
