Dr. Cartwright is an outstanding surgeon. He did a surgical procedure on my 1 year old son and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. I recognize that even the best surgeons do not always produce ideal outcomes, so it's best to focus on the process as well as the outcome. Dr. Cartwright's process was outstanding. He's a good listener and has a calming influence. He instills confidence and answers questions with patience and care. He's talented and experienced, and has served as the Chief Surgeon at Primary Children's Hospital. He is a truly amazing asset to his patients and their parents. I am most grateful for the extraordinary care he provided to my son.

My 2 year old recently saw Dr Cartwright for a circumcision and our experience has been amazing. He was friendly, explained everything well, and the surgery was flawless. My son didn’t even ever have any bleeding or discharge, and he hasn’t been in pain hardly at all. We are so impressed and happy.

spent 60 seconds with my newborn 2 weeks later I get an EOB from my insurance company saying the visit wasn't covered. Called insurance who told me the billing department sent in bad billing code. Called up spent 10 minutes on hold then another 30 minutes with a billing person who needs some training in customer service and people skills and by the end of the call still didn't get the issue resolved it was "flagged for follow-up" and they would look into it...

Although the receptionists in this office are hit and miss, Dr. Cartwright himself is one of the best doctors we have had experience with. We are extremely grateful to him for addressing our concerns, explaining our options, and being the best surgeon we could hope for to help our son. We are confident in his abilities and his care.
