List of Robert L. Cach's Reviews
I consider him to be nothing short of a miracle worker. He performed laminectomy/discectomy surgery on me 20 or more years ago. The shooting pains down my right leg were immediately relieved. I'm still going strong, today! Amazing talent!!
Dr. Cach performed miracle surgery on my back when he looked like he had just graduated from high school. Twenty five years (or so) later, I'm still doing fine!! He is truly a miracle worker!!!
Excellent help from all the staff.
The staff and Dr. Cach were most accommodating . There are pending matters that have to take place and then I look forward to scheduling surgery .
The communication between staff and doctors is absolutely terrible. I have worked for orthopedic surgeons since 1998 and have always felt comfortable in talking with them to help the patients feel like we really care for them and understand what they are going through. Making the patient wait for 1 week to get a response is ridiculous. April was the only staff member that tried to help.
I was taken to the ER with unbearable back pain (I had been getting progressively worse) and Dr. Cach performed surgery the next day. I am pain free and very grateful for his skill in the OR. In addition to a positive outcome, his PA Chris and nurse Laura were awesome. His office offered to help when I had difficulties with my insurance. Professionals on every level!
Terrible bedside manner
Appointment making and office employees were very polite. I checked in and was taken back promptly. However I was not impressed with the surgeon. He did a brief physical exam. And then referred me to a pain Dr. I don't feel like he even read my chart or gathered any patient history. I've been seeing a pain Dr for 8 yrs.. and Dr Casc gave me a diagnosis of SI joint pain. When I came to him about severe Nerve pain and severe stenosis of the foramin at L5-S1. Waste of time
FYI: Go Somewhere else! He did a laminectomy on my Hub 4/7 and for 5 mo. we’ve went back cuz of pain and weakness in his legs. He said there’s nothing wrong but referred him to Dr Morgan and look out/they’re colleagues but total opposites!lHe wanted to fuse 4 levels so we went to see Dr Kelly since another Dr referred him. Wow!! He did tests prior and said he had osteoporosis/if we would have had either Dr fuse it his bones were too weak to hold to hardware. He’s 59 so he must have an EKG before surgery which Dr Cach didn’t do! We were told “Dr Morgan’s opinion is like a driver closing his eyes and pushing on the gas pedal”!- couldn’t agree more!! Portnuef hospital was still in the dark ages compared to EIRMC!! Writing this review was very hard for me/I was in a car wreck in 2003 and I really think if not for Dr Cach I wouldn’t be walking today!! We were willing to overlook the hospital just to have Dr Cach!! I don’t know what happened but my Husband didn’t get the right treatment…
He has completely ruined me. Almost ended up paralyzed. Tried repeatedly to tell him something was wrong. He said it was beautiful every time I seen him after surgery. It must have been no less than 10 times in 11 months. Finally got a second opinion and the entire procedure had collapsed all screws were loose and caused the level above to break. So he had repaired me from C 3 to C 7 and it all failed he refused to accept it. So the same images he looked at were the same images I took to the new Doc. What a difference of opinion. He also completely tore up my nieces spinal cord and refused anything was wrong with it. Completely screwed up my cousin and I could go on for days. Wish I would have had all this info first!!! He dismissed everyone I know that tried telling him there was a problem. I guess he got what he wanted money money money! Thank God for other Doctors! This man should never be allowed to touch anyone!! EVER!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
