This place is honestly a joke. They are rude and careless. They give you false diagnosis and wont give you the treatment you need,They hate there own life and job so they take it out on the patients. I'm going to boise id to find a good doctor. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy

If I could give negative stars I would. The doctor I saw was super rude and didn’t listen to anything I had to say. He basically dismissed me and told me there was nothing he could do for me when my issue wasn’t super complicated. Then a little while later I had a few appointments scheduled I missed one and canceled the other two, when I went to reschedule my appointment I was told I’m only allowed to be seen as a walk in for missing 3 appointments. No one seems to want to listen when I tell them I had actually canceled well in advance for 2 of the appointments. If you have insurance save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

Never answers their phones, their phone service who does answer their phones doesn’t know how to set up appointments. I have enough pain I think I’ll switch primary to anyone else.

This place is hit or miss. My PCP is really good and cares about his patients, but some of the other staff… not so much.

They've been extremely helpful, understanding, listen to my concerns about my health and are personable.

Every single Health West is a nightmare. They are all incompetent. I have an auto immune disease and I had to get a referral from the to see a specialist doctor. I had an appointment in March to get the referral. All they had to do was send it to my insurance but no. It took them 4 MONTHS to send a correct referral to my insurance. It should have only taken 10 minutes. During the four months I was getting harassed by the staff. I had a nurse call me at 8:30 am and was incredibly rude to me and told me I didn’t need the referral because that’s not how insurance works. I told her to just do it because I already spoke to insurance and they said I needed the referral. 4 months later after me repeatedly calling them and telling them how to do their job, they finally got it correct. So thank you for keeping me from getting access to my medicine and my doctor. What a joke. I’m telling everyone I know.

I haven'tt had any luck with any of the residence in 8 years. If your smart you'll find a permanent doctor somewhere else. As residents leave after their internship is done & you get to start all over again. Its like they dont have your medical history right there infront of them.

I like my doctor but pretty much telling me I had to go on birth control again was unprofessional in my opinion. I had gone in in November to get my iron checked cuz I wasn't feeling right. He didn't listen n put me on birth control. I went in yesterday cuz my job asked me to cuz I haven't been able to do my job. I was told my nausea is a stomach bug I had passed. Got the call today from the blood work they had done and my iron is extremely high. I have to have a doctor's note for work so they can take me off light duty and cant get a doctor's note till Monday the earliest cuz nobody is in the clinic even with it saying they are open till 5 pm.

Update: apparently the billing department has the same ethics as the department that handles Rx refills. Getting them to call you back is a joke. I had to make an emergent appointment with a different provider than I usually see. That provider sent off two tests that I told her I didn’t want or need. $1300 dollars later for a simple problem, I was not happy! It was escalated to one of the clinical managers and he promised the charges would be reversed, and they were, but then showed up on my account a few weeks later. I’ve called and left three messages for Naomi to call me back to clear this up but haven’t heard from her. In the meantime, they keep sending me the bill and the hospital where they sent the test is sending me bills. Today, when I went in for my follow up with my regular provider, for something completely unrelated, the girls at the reception counter said I wouldn’t be seen unless I pay the amount on my account. I’m so upset I just want to go somewhere else! If it wasn’t for my current provider and how great he is with all of my medical issues, I would switch to another Dr. office in a heartbeat. This is seriously THE WORST clinic for customer service. Only a few of their providers are their saving Grace. The rest of the staff are awful!Horrible service. They let you run out of your prescriptions. It’s happened to me 3 times now. Last time this happened, the person I spoke to said they know this issue is a problem with their office. It has happened to a lot of patients. It seems they don’t care enough to fix the issue. You call days in advance and leave message after message until you are just absolutely infuriated and demand they fax your pharmacy. By the time they finally call in a refill, you’ve gone several days without your medication. It’s complete nonsense!
