Barry Peterson's Online Review Report Card

Not only did my surgery go terribly wrong but I found Dr. Peterson to be very egocentric and dishonest about it. This was NOT a compassionate doctor that wanted to help, he did the bare minimum and called it good when it was obviously not! I paid my bill and moved on with a messed up nose and never heard from his office again, I had to seek help elsewhere. I am not alone in my question as to how Dr. Peterson could be so condescending, not try to make things right with me, and only offer a temporary way of fixing the problem. I was examined by a few doctors and they all agreed that it was a very sloppy surgery performed, one in which he apparently didn’t have the skills for and he shouldn’t have tried. They all apologized as medical professionals for the treatment Dr. Peterson gave me and how sorry they were for what I endured, that’s how bad it was. My next doctor had to do a tissue and cartilage graft plus another septoplasty to fix the mess he did. I would have had a lot more respect for the simple truth and admitting to what went wrong but the way I was treated is unacceptable!! He put his ego in front of his patient’s best interest and bailed. Dr. Peterson took advantage of the trust that was placed in him and that cost me more than he will ever know, financially, physically, emotionally. This is the kind of doctor people need to be warned about.

Horrible experience with Dr. Peterson. Not at all qualified to do work he claims he can do. He bailed on me calling it “good” when the fact was I had to have a cartilage graft plus another septoplasty to fix the mess he did. NOT a doctor you can trust!!

No one should have to experience being treated as poorly as Dr. Peterson treated me. Not only did he do a horrible job on my surgery, he was extremely dishonest about it and very condescending. His moral compass is way off. Truly a sad thing to witness.

Dr. Peterson is wonderful. He is kind, patient, and knowledgeable. He has performed several procedures on several members of our family (tonsillectomies, biopsies, and esophageal dilation) and is highly competent and very compassionate. He listens and talks through issues until you understand them. Highly recommended!! Also office staff are WONDERFUL!

Very impressed with Dr Peterson in discussing possible surgery for my son. Was able to answer concerns and questions and didn't feel forced immediately into surgery. He was able to make my son feel comfortable when he usually struggles seeing a doctor.

I was very impressed with the staff and Dr Peterson. He was genuinely concerned about my health. Not only did he answer my questions, he answered questions I would of asked if I had thought about it. Very thorough in his diagnosis. I will continue to go to him.

I've had two sons get their tonsils and adenoids removed from Dr. Peterson at the surgery center at his office. He did an excellent job. The staff and facility were great. I highly recommend Dr. Peterson and his office.
