Dr. McMaster is a genius! He did the works on my nose. After a few days of discomfort everything is feeling great, and looking like never before (in a good way). I travelled all the way from Oregon to see him and have him do the surgery and he did everything where Dr’s in Oregon would not. I am happy and blessed to know I have a place to help me with my nose and throat issues. Highly recommend!

I am so thankful that Upper Valley ENT accommodated me on an emergency basis! I had painful abscess complications requiring a tonsillectomy at age 58. From consult/diagnosis through surgery, post-op and billing, I took comfort and had full confidence in their treatment. Dr. McMasters clearly outlined my options & potential consequences and gave his recommendations. Everything was smoothly orchestrated through his competent care & coordination with his excellent staff. My experience and outcome could not have been more positive!

Dr. McMasters has a bad temper and is easily agitated.

Dr. Mcmasters is arrogant and rude. When we came back after having our son's tonsils out he dismissed us and said he was fine, even though we told him that he was in extreme pain. His PA was kind and secretly gave us antibiotics because his throat was full of infection. Our experience was horrible.

Dr. Mcmaster is my least favorite dr in all of idaho. He is arrogant and has a horrible bedside manner.

Our son had his tonsils out with Dr. McMaster. He came out of surgery in extreme pain and the Dr. McMaster's was somewhat rude about it. My son's pain grew in intensity and we could not get it under control so we went back to his office to find out if something was wrong. Dr. McMasters was rude and very agitated and actually dismissed us. His PA was so kind and couldn't believe Dr. McMasters was so rude. He secretly gave us an antibiotic because he believed my son had an infection. The entire experience was so horrible.

A few years ago my hearing was becoming increasingly impaired and rather than go the standard hearing aid route, I first had a thorough [medical] hearing exam by someone that does NOT sell hearing aids. The exam revealed a pathological cause of my hearing loss; the problem was calcification of the tiny bones in the middle ear which interfered with receipt and transmission of sound vibrations to the inner ear. After researching ENT specialists, I discovered that other than traveling to Salt Lake City, Dr. McMaster was the only doctor in this region that was willing/capable to perform the delicate surgery necessary to remove the stirrup (stapes) bones from my two ears, and replace them with titanium pins. Long story short, I elected to have the surgery performed by Dr. McMaster in Rexburg; the surgery went very well, recovery time was short, and my hearing was dramatically restored to normal! Since then, both my wife and teenage step-son had septoplasty surgery performed by Dr. McMaster's partner, Dr. Peterson, and they had the same excellent experience and results as did I with Dr. McMaster. These surgeons are top tier, and I enthusiastically give them my highest recommendation.

I recently had Dr McMaster repair my deviated septum. I was apprehensive to go through with the procedure but I have been very satisfied since that time. I can finally breathe through my nose, both nostrils, especially at night. Dr McMaster was very informative prior to the procedure and particularly concerned with my comfort post operative. I would recommend without hesitation anyone requiring a competent ENT.

Dr. McMaster and his surgical center staff graciously stayed after hours to treat and repair my son's extensive nose laceration. They were all cheerful, courteous, kind and respectful throughout our stay even though I know they must have been very tired after already putting in a long day. The repair was done skillfully and I was very happy with the results. I have full confidence in Dr. McMaster and his staff and would recommend him highly to others.

Doctor McMaster is such a kind doctor who really cares about his patients. My husband got his tonsils out recently and has been in a lot of pain, and McMaster has gone far out of his way to help him. Highly recommend!
