from my first visit to my last he is extremely helpful. I am so glad I got referred to him for my back surgery. words cannot express how grateful I am for his knowledge and willingness to listen to me. THANK YOU!!!!!

Dr. Dickinson was very dismissive of my explanation of the pain I'd been experiencing for several months. There had been a five week wait to schedule an appointment and then he criticized me for being in his office. He suggested that an EMG might be appropriate and said that he would like to sit across the hall from where the EMG's were performed, eat popcorn, and chuckle at the pain the patients were experiencing. I would not recommend him.

My full rating is Plus , Plus. Not only was Dr Dickenson fully professional but kind and concerned about my pain level. He work tirelessly to find a date to perform my surgery thus bringing me great relief from pain. I highly recommend anyone to seek him out for spine care and relief. He is a minimalist in his procedures, but goes the extra mile to do what is needed for his patient.

I had a back issue the was really bad. I originally went to and pain and spine specialist and went through the shot treatments with no luck. Finally after 9 weeks of fighting it, I was referred to Dr. Dickinson. What a difference. He did a consult with me and went through my MRI from the base of my neck, down to the bottom of my spine. Once he was done, he showed exploded views of my issue and explained in GREAT DETAIL, exactly what and how he recommended to resolve the issue. He spoke in terms that were easy to understand and covered all of the negative things that could come about, with & without the surgery. No pressure whatsoever, if anything he presented the options on the cautious side. His demeanor and ability to explain things in a way I could understand made me feel extremely comfortable. I was in such pain I could not hardly walk. He was able to get me in to surgery the next day). The surgery went great and I was walking without pain that afternoon.

I have a bulging disc between L4 and L5 Doctor Dickens told me it was almost bone on bone and told me he wants to wait until it get worse before he will do surgery and suggested I have a spinal stimulator but that only masks the pain not fixes the problem im in so much pain

Dr Dickinson was an answer to our prayers. My wife needed surgery to repair spinal surgery from degenerate disc disease and clean up three other Neurosurgeon's surgeries. It sounds like they had done a poor job but they didn’t. However Dr Dickinson did an amazing job of stabilizing the weakest vertebral segments in the toughest parts of the spine, ie, thoraco-cervical and thoracic-lumbar junctions. He has a great skill set and his compassion to care for his patients in very remarkable!!

Excellent Dr. and very knowledgeable, I highly recommend him.

Dr. Dickenson explains what is happen and going to happen fully, so there are no surprises. He takes all the time you need (no feelings of being rushed out so he can see the next person) and checks on you personally, no with just a phone call from office staff. I was expecting a much more difficult recovery considering what had to be done and the pain I had before the surgery, and was pleasantly surprised to find that my recovery is going much easier than I had dared hope. Two thumbs up!

Dr. Dickinson recently performed a surgical procedure on me. I am extremely impressed with him, he took the time to explain the procedure, the healing process and what I would expect. He also was very direct in explaining when the procedure would and would not be effective. After collecting additional information we jointly decided to move ahead. He was genuinely concerned about my welfare throughout this process. The hospital staff commented frequently what a great doctor he is and how careful he is in surgery. Some Dr.'s make you feel like you are just part of their daily assembly line drudgery. Dr Dickinson made time to discuss and answer my questions and was direct with his information, I appreciate that. I highly recommend Dr. Dickinson.
