Dr. Olmstead is a wonderful doctor and an extremely caring individual. He treats me like a person, asks me questions and actually listens to me instead of relying solely on charts and test results like so many other doctors. You are not just a name and a symptom to him, you are an individual he wants to help. Dr. Olmstead works with his patients, making sure they get the best treatment available and one that caters to their specific needs. I have counted my blessings many times to have a physician such as Dr. Olmstead looking out for me.

My mother called to try to make an urgent appointment for my disabled brother at this doctor. Upon finding out that he had special needs, the woman taking calls first asked "What would we be seeing him for?" as if my mother was somehow unaware of what kind of doctor she had called. Then, seemingly disappointed by the fact that my mother hadn't made a mistake, the receptionist told her that Olmstead wasn't taking any new patients. So I guess there's no point in calling this dermatologist...though I suspect that if you're not disabled, they just might be able to squeeze you in. The doctor is very good but his nurse needs to retire! He needs to realize how very rude and nasty she is to his patients 😤 not going back because of how she is!!!!

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Olmstead for several (many?) years. He is always attentive, supportive, and knowledgeable. We highly recommend Dr. Olmstead to anyone in need of a Dermatologist!
