Edward-Elmhurst Health Center - Addison's Online Review Report Card

Months ago I visited for an infected in grown hair. I returned for a second appointment after my first visit because I was in pain. The doctor dismissed the chaperone and proceeded to pop the infected hair with no warning, consent, or pain management. I did not even receive warning of what was happening to my body. I cried out in pain and tried to move away from the actions of the doctor, he scolded me and told me to stay still. He told me not to return with this issue again and I left in more pain than I arrived. Feeling violated that this doctor hurt me and then yelled at me. I visited again recently for extreme pain and swelling due to an infection. I was told to use home remedies despite doing so for 5 days with worsening symptoms. Sobbing, I asked for pain medication and antibiotics. I was denied. I called back after the appointment to ask again for treatment of my pain. I was again told to use ibuprofen and Vaseline. I received no treatment for my symptoms or the pain that was causing me to lay crying in bed The nurse practitioner did call in a prescription for Herpes antiviral, despite my having a recent negative test. I have no signs of herpes, but I am being treated for it. I am experiencing extreme pain and received no treatment. When I pointed this out to the nurse, I was yelled at and further dismissed while she yelled at me. After speaking with the NP, I checked MyChart and found she lied about the treatment she offered. Her documentation says she offered a treatment plan at another facility when that was never offered. While looking at MyChart, I noticed the notes for my previous visit stated the chaperone was present, when in fact the doctor dismissed her. The doctor also noted the hair was oozing pus, which wasn’t true until after he popped it without my consent. This health center clearly has a practice of falsifying patient documentation to suit them.

The lady at front before 2pm today did not even register us Everything else went well thank you to the lady inside that saw we where waiting for a while. The lady at the front might of been new and not registered us.

Dr. Christopher Boutin. He so knowledgeable about his skills. Very pleasant and thoughtful and caring to his patients. He is above all his team members in a class of his own. Always ready for game time on his procedures and what comes his way. He is the Doctor you look at first.

My lab tech this morning made sure if was ok . She offered me juice and rubbed my back after drawing my blood. I hate blood work but thanks for the kindness

After checking with my Primary care doctor decided to visit an ENT doctor since I had a sensation of food getting stuck on back of my throat, scheduled the appointment over the phone was able to book with doctor Luke Miller OTOLARYNGOLOGY, check in was easy on time, the entire visit was 10 minutes doctor did laringoscopy didnt find anything even though sensation was still present ended up owing $440 my insurance covered $160 discount. The charge was ridiculos, doctor got his part which I understand $240 or something but the clinic charge on their own for my weight and measure of height and for letting the doctor use his office. Overcharged total visit $600 was 10 min so they charge $60 per minutes and still didnt solve my problem, complete rip off, greedy clinic, will never go there again. They did not inform about the price or charges. Do not recommend it.

No lo recomiendo me negaron la atencion solo por ser una nueva paciente apesar de mencionarles q tengo un embarazo de alto riesgo y tambien alli mismo le toco laboratorio a mi otro bebe y la enfermera q tomo la muestra muy poca paciencia y prepotente con un niño de 2 años al menos ya se adonde no acudir para la proxima
