List of Edward-Elmhurst Immediate Care - Addison's Reviews
This place offer a very poor services, this is the 3rd time I use this service and always the same, this morning I’m outside the building waiting to be seen the front line consultation desk was acting horribly Rude my husband provide to her my insurance card and he pays my co- pay in cash,Honestly I feel like I’m asking for free services The way they are treating us,If they don’t have compassion they shouldn’t be in this business period,I also see a discrimination and preferences I hope I’ll never come back here
Front desk woman was rude. She spoke too fast and just assumed i knew where i was going and assumed i had access to a car to wait in. She had locks but i didnt get her name. She never asked me for my ID just my Insurance card.Made me wait in my car to make sure my insurance went through and then decided to see me.Once my insurance was cleared a woman who i believe is Alyssa? Was very nice and told me to come into the waiting room.I feel thats a bit much. Why have me wait in my car if im just going to come in and wait in the waiting room?I saw two Amys and they were nice. I then saw Dr. Jennifer and she was nice as well.Because of the person at front desk, i rated 2 stars. Her attitude will definitely make people not come back.
Usually I am happy with the service at Elmhurst and immediate care but this time I was very disappointed. They were cold and the nurse practitioner had read the X-rays wrong and told me there was nothing wrong with my ankle then when I told her where my pain was she was like “oops I read it wrong , you have a fracture “ she almost sent me home without a cast then she walked out and sent in the medical assistant for the cast and the nurse practitioner never came back in and a doctor never came in to see me. When the nurse came in to give me the after visit summary he didn’t even give me instructions on how to protect the cast , I had to ask all the questions. Horrible experience with the nurse and nurse practitioner.
Probably the worst experience I've ever had! The nurse practitioner on-site did not care one bit why I was there. Spent 2 minutes in the room after i waited 2 hours to see her and her response to my reasoning for being there was it's a mystery. She didn't ask any of the questions that were crucial to diagnose. I went somewhere else and received treatment.
Urgent care means you get treated for your symptoms not sent home with a diagnosis only, Don’t waste your time going here
Unfortunately, I've had to come here several times and each time everyone is quick with taking care of you very kind and efficient and know what they're doing. I recommend this location to anyone.
This was my first experience at Edward-Elmhurst Immediate Care. I was very surprised and happy about the level of care I received. Everyone was kind and helped take care of my needs. I would definitely recommend anyone in need of care!
Horrible place. Took my daughter to this place to be seen by a professional to help us with her pain. unfortunately she suffers from brutal menstrual cramping. Took an hour to be seen just for the nurse practitioner to tell us there's nothing they can do and how lucky she is because she never had to deal with menstrual cramping like my daughter, she asked some questions, one of the questions was if my daughter was sexually active, we told her my daughter is a virgin. After talking for a while and repeating to us how fortunate she is that she never had to deal with menstrual pain and how my daughter will need to just deal with it. I realized how can she understand how much pain my daughter is in if she is repeating to us that she never experience such pain.No empathy and how can I expect empathy from someone who is letting us know how lucky she is that she never had to deal with menstrual pain. If you are going to be a nurse or any medical field YOU NEED TO HAVE EMPATHY. Nothing was done at this place. she just recommended for us to go see an specialist, no pain medicine or any labs were offered but to come back to tell us she is giving my 15 year old a pregnancy test after letting her know she is a virgin. I was shocked that after we told her my daughter is not sexually active she will ask for her urine to give her a pregnancy test but no ibuprofen at least. I felt very disrespectful and no empathy from the nurse practitioner. Never again coming back to this place.
really very satisfied with the speed, the professionalism that they have treated my children and attended the emergency 3 times and the experience has been very pleasant, my children also attend with Dr. Victoria Uribe very professional
I went in knowing a had a sickness that I have had in the past. Well aware of the symptoms and the examination for said sickness. At this facility I was not only examined poorly and denied the prescription I was seeking but when I asked about the procedure as I felt I was not examined correctly I was rudely insulted as I do not have a primary care doctor and told that because of that I am at the mercy of their physicians at this facility. They do poor work and they are proud of it. Rude to their patients and impatient. Never go here!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
