List of Camelia E. Marian's Reviews
I was home recovering from Covid-Pneumonia after 2 weeks in the hospital and I was still suffering with a cough. I called Dr Marians office and was told by Dr Marians “fill in” (Dr Marian was on vacation) to get an X-ray and I was prescribed a pill for my cough in the meantime. The X-ray came back showing pneumonia was still present in my lungs. No treatment was prescribed. Five days later my oxygen saturation was continuing to be too low and my cough was not getting better. I called Dr Marians service only to be declined a callback. I went to the ER and was admitted for 3 days. While in the hospital I was treated with steroids and antibiotics and was doing much better. A month after my X-rays were prescribed by Dr Marians office, I got a call from her office to go over my xrays because Dr Marian thought I might need antibiotics! I told the nurse I had already been admitted to the hospital a couple weeks prior for antibiotics and steroids.
WARNING: This doctor’s office will not accommodate urgent care requests. I has a very serious eye issue requiring immediate surgery but could not schedule it without pre-op approval from my primary physician, Dr Marian. Her office said they had no openings until late the next day pushing my surgery out 2 days and guaranteeing the loss of vision in my eye. I found myself pleading with her nurses to prioritize my appointment but they said they do not do that. When I asked to have Dr Marian call me I was told she does not call patients by phone, only her nurses talk to patients. Does this sound right to anyone? Luckily I have a doctor in my family who used his connections to get me what I needed so I was able to get the surgery. I’m writing this to warn current and future patients so you don’t find yourself in this position when an urgent need comes up,
She is a very good doctor .She compassionate and thorough in her exam. She took his time listening to me, and explained in detail the situation. She is a professional doctor. I trust her.
Horrible horrible Dr! Can't be bothered to listen.
Thorough, understanding and kind! Been with her many years!
Below is a thank you letter I sent Dr. Marian! Impressive MD! Words can not express the sincere gratitude and appreciation I have for you! Your comprehensive physical exam was impressive and especially the fact that you determined the need for me to have additional medical testing completed that ultimately led to my Thyroid cancer diagnosis. I certainly could be walking around with thyroid cancer and not knowing I was living with it! I had my thyroid removed promptly on August 5th and had radioactive iodine treatment on September 16th. I’ve recently been informed that I’m cancer free and ultimately received that great news because of you. I’ve often found recognition isn’t provided to those most deserving and in my specific case you’re a hero! I have referred five new patients to your practice including my wife after actually being a referral patient myself. You are so deserving of this thank you letter which I’m also sending along with my patient survey that was set to me by your medical group. Thank You!

So, I had a physical scheduled this morning at 8:30 am. First appointment of the day, not only because I was having a fasting blood draw, but I needed to get to work afterward. Also have had MANY experiences of waiting far to long at previous appointments with Dr Marian. I was taken back by the nurse at 8:32am. At 8:45am the Dr hadn't come in the room yet so I opened the exam room door. I encountered Dr Marian walking down the hall, JUST-ARRIVING AT WORK. Understand my appointment was at 8:30am and the Dr arrived to work at 8:30am. As I was walking out I asked to have my blood draw and shingles shot done. I was walked back to the exam room only to have Dr Marian walk in like nothing was wrong. I let her know how u felt, she said nothing and left the room. At that point I walked out again and asked for the number of someone at Mercy to contact. My time is worth something also, and this is not only unacceptable it's completely unprofessional
very educated, she does not push pharmaceuticals which I appreciate. Never had a problem unlike here in Arizona.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
