Dr. Bonenkamp is an excellent physician. His manner allows the patient to feel validated. He takes the time necessary to listen to any concerns or questions. Dr. Bonenkamp has a caring attitude. He has attended to both of my knees and I am honored that he is my physician.

Dr Bohnenkamp is the best! He took the time to explain my knee injury to me and provided an on-the-spot resolution. His professionalism and care for his patients is of the highest level and the nursing and office staff at Ortho Illinois are always so efficient and friendly! Thank you Dr Bohnenkamp for all you do for your patients!!

Dr. Bohnenkamp is the Best! I've had both knees replaced by Dr.Bohnenkamp. I've just passed year 1 on the first knee and have had exactly "0" issues with them. I can walk for miles, and play pickleball for hours and have NO knee pain. I've met many people that have had issues with their knee replacements, 2nd and 3rd surgeries, things that should have been done the first surgery. You don't have to worry about that with Dr Bohnenkamp, he does it all, the right way, the first time. Thanks Dr. Bohnenkamp!

Joanne the nurse who took information was considerate and helped me (in wheelchair) to the bathroom before we did our verbal exchanges of Medications, etc. she was well informed about procedures and I did not feel rushed throughout our communications. Dr. Bohenkamp spoke to me detailing the entire surgery which took place 9 days before this visit showing me X-rays, describing why he had to take certain steps during surgery, listened to my comments regarding the pain I had after surgery and even until this date in a Rehab Center and how to manage that discomfort. One cannot describe the comfort I felt and reassurance that I received from Doctor Bohenkamp. He talked to my son who was with us in the exam room addressing his questions and comments which helped my son and I very much. I would not hesitate to recommend this Doctor and his team to anyone would ask about a great and talented surgeon.
