They were very professional and very helpful the doctor was excellent. He explained everything to me and answered all my questions. I would recommend them to family and friends. It was a good experience.

Dr. Izquierdo was highly recommended and I have been very happy with my total shoulder replacement. He is very thorough and answers all my questions.

Very skilled, cares about pain, wants to help make progress

WARNING!!!! If you are relying on an ortho doctor to give an honest assessment of your abilities and recommending treatment that will actually help you get better and if he cannot make you better, at least giving you the proper work accommodations so that you don't have to spend your entire day in severe pain or quit your job and have to go to a different career, I would strongly recommend that you do not go to this office. I believe IMO that most of the reviews are fake and paid for. I have friends who have gone here and had similarly horrifying experiences that have negatively impacted their life. Regarding my experience, I was a teacher for very troubled and violent children after moving to a job in a different town. As an older person, I did not expect the challenges that this job would bring and thought that I would be able to help these children. The children were physically violent and I received multiple bruises on my legs and a knee injury that really aggravated my knee. I had pictures of my injuries as well. Dr. Daniels was the second doctor that I saw at the ortho Illinois after seeing Dr. Wellendorf who recommended me to Daniels because he was supposedly some kind of a knee specialist. Well unfortunately I found him to be very uncaring pompous and had a god complex. He was not even listening to my struggles and inability to stand up more than 15 minutes without severe pain, he didn't care to look at my bruises nor did he care that I could not work any longer with the physical requirements and I even had to start a totally different job in a different career because of the severe pain & inability to bend or stand more than 15 minutes in a job that required me to bend dozens of times a day, pick up children who were fighting on the floor and also to stand on my feet for several hours a day. Clearly I could not do these things that my job required any longer after the injury , and my primary doctor even suggested changing careers, which I did. I told Dr. Daniels that I had to do a sedentary job now because I could no longer do the physical work that was required of me. He basically smirked, said there's nothing more he can do except recommend me to physical therapy and that I probably won't improve much more, which clearly implies that I should have limitations if I do go back to my job since he cannot make me much better. Unfortunately when I got my medical records eventually, I noticed what he wrote in my chart was completely contradictory to what we discussed in his office. He actually said that I could return to full capacity at my job, which made zero sense considering the physical demands that I could no longer do and that I discussed with him what I was no longer able to do. He certainly didn't test my physical abilities nor ask me to stand for several hours nor did he ask me to bend multiple times to see what my abilities were, even though multiple times I did report my limitations to him. Rather than give me a clearance to go back to a teaching job with several limitations, he said I could go back with no limitations. Outrageous and a total misrepresentation of my physical capabilities and my condition that I communicated to him . I feel that he discriminated against me as a disabled person and an older person. I feel he was very uncaring and a poor listener and did not care about me. I feel that he just wanted to get me out of the office and move onto the next patient, racking up the dollars with each new patient that he just quickly moved out of his office without really listening and assessing the patients properly and fairly My primary doctor was shocked about this and is very supportive and told me to give them a call about my concerns. Karen who is the nurse said she would call me back in a but when she called back was very curt and did not seem to care in my opinion but she said she's going to call back. I don't have much hope based on the uncaring attitude that I felt and I probably will end up reporting him to the AMA and professional licensing.

The reviews here are Phony computer generated names? Look where the names are from, not from the area. Beyond that my experience has been terrible. I was recommended this place, but what a disaster so far. Do not expect customer care from this place, they do not return phone calls. Three calls now to ask a question from the Mgr. Julie or Judy and even though they give this "High Priority" I have been ignored. They DO NOT Care!!!

I’m always so happy to see Dr. Isquierdo. He is very assuring and comforting, and thorough. All of the people working for him are very friendly. Marie is always very positive and thorough as well. I am very pleased with the care I receive at Ortho Illinois.

Don't call back, taking forever to call back with MRI results. Won't be coming back. Would not recommend.
