I had to reschedule at times due to work schedule and family emergencies but had an appt with the nurse practitioner for 3:00 pm. Office called me at 11:40 day of saying Dr Durham would take take me because of my rescheduling. The day of! Not when I scheduled a month ago. Poor service. Plus when I was there last she was in a hurry. Would not recommend

Wish I could give negative stars. Dr. Durham WAS my gynecologist until I got sick of her not taking my concerns seriously. I repeatedly told her about my history with ovarian cysts, which she said was no big deal and I should just get used to, even when I told her it felt like being stabbed. She always blows off my connective tissue disease that prevents me from using hormones and IUDs, and she believes that she knows better than the doctor (Dr. Dietz) that the disorder (Loeys-Dietz Syndrome) is named after. I also have an apple-sized ovarian cyst that causes daily pain, but she won’t remove it. Now I have to find a new gynecologist who will take me seriously, but since I’ll be a new patient, it will take twice as long to get some help. Thanks a ton. 👌

I started seeing Dr Durham after my doctor had back surgery and decided she couldn’t deliver babies any longer. I have a history of breast cancer in my family and around 20 weeks pregnant I developed a large mass on one of my breast ( roughly the size of a 20oz soda cap). I was told it was probably just a pimple without it even being looked at and I was told not to worry unless it came back. It ruptured went down and came back less than a month later. I called her office and she just gave me antibiotics without looking at it again. Told me not to worry unless it came back a 3rd time. Here I am 30 weeks pregnant and it’s back again, I was told well you are pregnant and there is nothing that can be done right now anyway. She still hasn’t looked at it. None of my concerns are addressed, I’m considered high risk for several factors but that hasn’t been discussed either(even when I ask) and she is constantly trying to guilt me into options even after I’ve told her I’ve done research and have made up my mind.

Long wait times, every time and issue is brought to her attention I’m told not to worry unless it happens again. When it does happen again I’m told we will worry about it next time. I Am a first time mom in a high risk pregnancy and if I don’t take a list of questions, I get no real info from the doctor. I feel like I’m just another chart.

Dr. Durham had no clue what she was doing with my case. I asked her 10 times if she thought that I had PCOS and she said that even if I did it didnt matter because I was getting positives on at home Ovualtion predictor kits. ( Which you can get false positives on them with having PCOS). All she had to do was a transvaginal ultrasound and she would have known. Her second mistake was doing Day "21" bloodwork on Day 21 when I was having 35-37 day cycles. you have to adjust for the cycle length. Third strike your out!!... I had a HSG test done. There was an object labeled as a possible polyp in my Uterus on the film. Dr. Durham said that it didnt make a difference and did no further testing. I later found out at my fertility doctors office that I went to after firing Dr. Durham that a polyp can cause issues with a pregnancy. It should have been followed up with a saline ultrasound which it was and thankfully my uterus was clear. I would not trust her to deliver my baby. It is in my records at my new OBGYN's office that if she is on call at the hospital that she is not allowed to deliver my baby. All of her mistakes cost my husband and I about 2 years of trying to have a baby. Now we sit here 37 & 38 hoping our first round of IVF will work.

Doesn't Listen, pushy and uppity on October 27, 2017 Dr Durham was covering for my Dr until she is released from her Dr. Dr Durham didn't really look at the file or talk to my Dr about me. She had little clue as to what was going on. She was completely focused on meeting me as if I was a new patient to her and to the facility. Other than looking at test results she only had interest in doing what SHE wanted. Nothing that I had discussed and determined with my Dr mattered. She didn't listen to me. She didn't consult my Dr on anything. She just decided that she knew what was best for ME. Forget all the pre-cancer sells and results that came back. Forget that I had already moved this surgery because it changed from a Tube removal to a full hysterectomy. She didn't want to perform my hysterectomy and wanted to do a LEEP. All because SHE though it was best for me to not go through a surgery. We discussed it and she felt that I just wanted this to avoid becoming pregnant. I'm 35 years old and they found step 3 pre-cancer cells. There is a small family history of this. WHAT MORE INDICATION DO YOU NEED TO TAKE A CERVIX, UTERUS AND TUBES OUT?! She walked out of the room telling me SHE would be right back, 30 minutes later the Director and the Office Manager come in and tell me basically they cannot force her to do the surgery. That she gets the final say since she would be the one doing or not doing it. So my options are wait for my Dr to be released, go to another Dr or do what Dr Durham wants. Dr Durham wasted my time, planning and caused addition stress in an already emotionally taxing situation. Her personal opinions are not what I care about or want to deal with. Her ethics are clearly driven by religious beliefs and does not listen to the people that she is "treating". This was all 2 days before surgery and right after I had just gone to the hospital to have my blood and urine test done. She is even worse that the doctor that said my 3 month long period was a minor inconvenience. If I could give zero stars, I would.
