I have been a patient for 20 years. Dr. Behrens has a great personality, he's caring and always been very helpful for ne and my family.

I loved Dr. Behrens. He was professional and thorough. He realized way before I did that I needed an inhaler and was about to get pneumonia. He barely heard the rattle and wheeze but gave me the exact right course of action to avoid getting really sick. I think many doctors would have missed this. He did not.

Went to Dr. Behrens because my regular physician was unavailable and I needed help. He talked down to me, insulted me, and questioned my integrity. He did absolutely so help my severe headache, swollen glands, & excessive fatigue, then refused to consider my explanation of what I stated may be the cause. Stated he couldn't find anything wrong and stated my low grade fever was inconsequential. He ordered blood work that was so overreaching that even my insurance company denied some of the tests due to unsupported symptoms. I was forced to moved on to another physician who discovered a serious infection and immediately prescribed antibiotics. Within 5 days all symptoms disappeared and I am now back to my healthy self. MPCP had been my primary care physicians for over 20 years. I will NEVER go back to him nor MPCP again.

I have been with Dr Behrens since I was around 20 years old. I will soon be 50! I have never had a problem with him in all these years. He is caring and very good at diagnosing new problems. I will never leave this doctor. He is wonderful. I never wait long to see him, I'm always in and out. Just make sure when you make your appt tell staff everything you need to discuss so they can schedule the proper time slot. It is important to him to not have long wait times for patients

Dr Behrens is very condescending and when you dont readily take his advice tends to be punitive in witholding prescriptions for other ailments. I am looking for a new doctor.

Started seeing the Doc in 1991....in 1993 he caught my heart problem and I believe he saved my life. He has been my Doc now for over 20 yrs and he has always been honest and straight forward. He's been the best Doc I have ever had.

I've been seeing Dr. Behrens for more than 10 years. He's become condescending more recently.when I asked for second prescription so I could submit it to my insurance company to facilitate a mail prescrption service he told me I should pay for the prescription out of pocket. What the heck?

I have been seeing Dr. Behrens for about 8 years. I would consider my care over this period of time as being adequate. My biggest problem with Dr. Behrens is that on occasions he is a very moody doctor. You are not allowed to see him for more then one issue at a time. If you forget and try to discuss more then one problem with him he gets upset with you. He then will respond to the multiple issues but in a very quick and curt manner. The last time I was in his office he accused me of not taking my medicines even though the blood test results he had in front of him said all of my blood levels were good. I tried to tell him that I hadn't filled my prescriptions on a timely basis because the last time I called his office for a refill two 2 of the same prescription got filled and not just one so they lasted longer. Lastly, don't disagree or question his advice or he will get nasty with you. To say the least my last visit was unpleasant and I won't be going back.

I have been with dr behrens from the age of 18 until now (46). He has been the most wonderful doctor and has gone to bat for me numerous times. It's a great feeling to have a doctor on your side and to speak on your behalf when you just can't seem to make your specialists understand. He is the best and he truly cares about his patients. I will never switch doctors. We have grown old together and I am lucky to have him as my doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Behrens since he started his practice. The long waits in the exam room even when you are in at 8 AM have become to frequent for me to handle. He has also become condecending if you do not follow his instructions to the letter. My last visit was with my wife who had just had major surgery. At her request I went to the exam room with her to carry her large files to make sure his records were updated. He never even acknowledged my presence in the room except for a rude scowling glance. My wife and I are both looking for a new Doctor. We can no longer put up with his attitude.
