List of Endeavor Health Medical Group's Reviews
I have visited this office many times. I have never had any issues until the last time. The only way out of the doctors offices is walking past the receptionist. I was told that I don't owe any money and to have a nice day. However, 5 months later I start receiving calls from a debt collecting agency saying I owe $20. Not once did NCH medical call me to let me know about the money I owed. I did not receive anything in the mail. Oh but they sent me a message in MynchChart months after my appointment. A message that was not found in their messages part of the app. It was hidden pretty deep in the app stating I owe $20. I didn't even see this until I started receiving calls from Harris and Harris. So instead of simply letting me know I owed $20 (even though the lady at the desk told me otherwise) they just send me to a debt collector. How nice. Clearly the fault of the doctors office. I recommend better training for these ladies. Or maybe give a 15 year customer a curtesy call letting them know their receptionist was wrong and that I do owe them money. I will have to find a new doctors office now. I'd rather drive 40 minutes to another doctor. Just make sure you ask these ladies 20 times if you owe anything. Even if these doctors could cure cancer I would look elsewhere just to avoid the incompetence of the biller. I don't want to be sent to collections again for less than an hours wage. Absolutely atrocious behavior. Pathetic staff. Will never return. They are a disgrace and should be ashamed. Very lazy.
Basic Primary Care Review - Poeple here are nice, but drag slower than the pace of a snail for anything. I've been coming here two years now, never has my prescription been refilled within 48 hours of requesting. As someone w a 30-day supply, this is an ongoing problem. Then you try to call, but the offices close 2 hours early every day. No point In trying to get anything done here after your work day when it's most convenient, better take an extra long lunch break instead. Then they'll hit you with a disclaimer "refills may take 1-2 business days" - like all I need is my doctor to provide his e-signature and I'll be on my happy way. Again, with a 30-day / once daily supply, THIS IS AN ONGOING ISSUE. Why is nobody here able to approve refills when the doctor is out of office? More often than not, my doctor is on vacation, left early for the day, or out for lunch. My old pediatrician provided 10x better service, and actually sent my refills to the provider when they were requested. Too bad I'm too old to go back :(
I love this office. Very friendly staff and short wait times. My primary, Dr. Skop is a wonderful doctor.
Good luck getting an appointment that's not several months away and not having appointments cancelled. Called to reschedule an appointment I couldn't make anymore and the day of my new appointment I called to confirm I still had the appointment and they told me that I did, but it was cancelled and that the time was already taken. I never cancelled the appointment or got a notification that it was cancelled and the soonest they could fit me in was middle of December. I had made these appointments back in August. They couldn't fit me in anymore even though it was their own mistake I couldn't go. You're better off finding a new office.
I've been a patient at this office for a decade and the customer service has been deteriorating for awhile, it's at its lowest and I'm ready to find a new practice for my health care needs. The walk-in clinic hours are not consistent, they shared hours that were not always accurate. This is very inconvenient and frustrating as a patient. When I tried to make an appointment, they suggested I use their walk-in hours... When I explained, I had tried to use their walk-in hours without success, I was told to come first thing, which isn't convenient with my schedule.
What an unpleasant experience last week after leaving the hospital my dad was supposed to have a checkup with his family doctor, I called I left a message two days later a phone call saying if he's fine then a visit is not necessary or if his health deteriorates go to Er, I'm calling today to get a referral to check hemoglobin because dad had blood transfusions last week and the level needs to be controlled , so today is a problem to receive referral because you need a visit with a doctor . It's a shame that you can't even count on doctors these days. Due to the ignorance of family doctors, Er are filled to the brim waiting for admission is about 5-7 hours where people come with a sore throat because the family doctor makes appointments a year in advance, and if a patient is ill, it is best to heal himself, because there is no available time to treat a sick patient in the doctor's office.
This review only applies to the ultrasound technician on duty today June 17th not the staff interception area who was cheerful telephoto and was aghast that might endocrinologist still used a fax machine. So the technician was cold that's okay I don't expect warm from somebody I asked it was okay to talk she said snow I'll be asking you questions and you giving you directions to breathe no talking while she's getting ready I did talk in the meantime she says don't talk anymore I said okay you can tell me to shut up you don't have to be polite and laughed. At the completion of the ultrasound she said you can go out the door to your right without checking in with everyone and just late I said okay I grabbed my personal belongings and reminded her to give me my sunglasses which were in a different location and and gave them to me with a second set of identical directions on how they get the heck out of that room to the right in through the reception don't talk to anybody. Well I opened the door and it didn't have to stop so it can it banged against the wall a little bit it was nothing intentional and I was completely innocent this technician took it upon herself to give me a scolding that that was rude and you're not be banging the door in here well okay I wasn't rude the doorbell rings on its own blah blah blah and this was after I had waited a full hour and 45 minutes to get my test in my opinion I think that she appears to believe stitches paid extra to treat her client who visit her rudely for no apparent reason.
This review is for the dermatology services offered at 1051 W Rand Rd. Title: A good dermatology clinic plagued by availability issues. Review: The office staff are friendly, the dermatologists are very nice providers and more often than not treat the right condition. Skin conditions being complex it's often a game of cat and mouse til the root cause is found and cured. That game of cat and mouse is made far harder in this office because of availability problems. I can't blame them for having such a short list of dermatologists in this clinic. If you have relatively basic needs and time isn't critical and you're heavily connected to the NCH team then this clinic should do fine for you. If you have little connection to Northwest Community Hospital (my primary doc is out of Advocate. I barely use NCH services aside from emergency and immediate care. I was sent here by immediate care) then you'll probably be better served by a private fully staffed dermatology center. As this is not that. NCH dermatology is a small sub specialty within their specialty services. I would have kept the doctor on my treating staff if his availability wasn't plagued by overscheduling. They're clearly understaffed and the office has a hall of rooms as far as the eye can see yet availability problems will have you waiting weeks or more for an appointment. If time is of an essence and you need high availability, go to a dermatology clinic that does nothing but dermatology because this place is way too busy. The office is clean and the waiting area accommodates plenty of people with social distancing. Front desk staff are nice and when you can get an appointment they see you on time every time. If getting an appointment wasn't a hop on a waiting list ordeal I'd give them five stars but because the hospital can't be arsed with having more dermatologists on staff I have to dent them a star on the rating. NCH medical group, y'all should know better by now and stack the hall with dermatologists. Competing clinics are easily taking patients away from NCH. If you want to financially survive you gotta spend money to make money and NCH clearly isn't doing that. Although clean the office is dated looking, older decor and cabinetry are evident of the executive staffs ignorance to invest in more clinicians and a better working environment for them. The clinicians aren't the problem, the executives and management are.
It was really bad experiences with the Medical records department! The customer service was extremely rude when I told them I was a patient of NCH Medical Group and I was also a third party to request my own medical records. I faxed my medical record request form in advance that I agreed to pay if they had the amount for me in advance because I didn't want to wait at the their office long time, they didn't prepare till I was there, then I was put to the last person to serve intentionally. Also, you know what, I was told to arrive at the Medical records department at North entrance, but that door was not opened since Covid-19 starts(Do you think the customer service didn't know about that?), instead of that, I had to walk to the main hospital entrance to get in. If you are familiar with this hospital, you will know how long I had to walk from the main entrance to the north entrance's Medical Records department!!!!!!!
The gastro department in NCH Hospital on the 4th floor, Dr. Parsons office appears to be too busy. They only see patients on Wednesdays so it is hard to get an appointment and if you do, it may not be with the doctor. You'll probably get a NP. Anyhow, Dr. Parsons did an Endoscopy and I saw him for less than 30 seconds after. I was supposed to have a follow up visit with him but was told he had no appointment for over a month so I had to see a NP who appeared to be very intelligent. I'm not sure if I will go back because my health issues still exist even after he did an Endoscopy. Now not sure what is wrong with me.
