Janusz Mejer, Md's Online Review Report Card

I came to dr.mejier with gut issues. He had me do numerous tests. He told me to do “gi360” stool test. I paid out of pocket for this test. 600 dollars! When I got my results I was informed I have to pay an additional 350 dollars out of pocket in order for dr.Meijer to give me my diagnoses. (I have blue cross blue shield!!!) They claimed it is “functional medicine”. I made an appointment with another doctor and he had no problem reading me my results! Do not be fooled by dr.meijer. He will try to charge you out of pocket every chance he gets! I recommend an AMERICAN doctor. Avoid dr.meijer if you don’t want to get scammed out of your hard earned money!

This doctor was unbelievably disrespectful And rude. My father went to see him because of arm and muscle pain, which then he referred him to a cardiologist. The cardiologist was able to find some things which my father will need a procedure for. During his most recent visit with Dr.Mejer, my father was asking who the surgeon would be, and he preferred a younger surgeon. Dr. Janus proceeded to say that how dare my father want a younger surgeon as my father isn’t “ Young” himself and claimed that he himself saved my father‘s life. Then he proceeded to storm out of the room with because he was angry. What kind of doctor lashes out and acts this way? Also claiming that he was figured out the issue, not the cardiologist that performed the tests. I don’t often write reviews, but I want to warn future patients that this doctor must have some sort of anger issues or is going through a hard time and takes it out on patients. I have never heard of a doctor getting angry over surgeon preference before as this can be a pretty serious surgery. My father is a pretty calm and respectful individual so this type of behavior towards him is unacceptable.

Id like to share my positive experience during my first visit to Dr. Mejer's office. I was immediately impressed by how attentively he listened to my concerns and took the time to explain in great details the further treatment. Also, the scheduling process was very easy, and the front desk staff was friendly and efficient upon my arrival. This positive initial interaction made me feel very comfortable. Thank you!

Very disappointed never will go there again

I would strongly recommend Dr Mejer. I am on the weight loss program. He had me take many tests prior to being on the weight program. He wanted to understand what was going on with my personal situation, not many doctors do this nowadays. Next year I am going to change my health insurance and have him as my family doctor.

Dr Janusz and his staff are consistently going above and beyond in how they communicate and treat the patients who come to them. I have never felt judged and everyone is very kind. They greet everyone by name and are very welcoming. I struggled for 3 years to lose weight and Dr. Janusz and his team really motivated and kick started my weight loss that I’m very grateful for. They keep you on a healthy, reliable, and realistic plan to help you achieve your goals. Choosing his staff and office is one the best decisions I made for myself and my health and you won’t regret coming here.

Never meet a doctor like that, he spends a lot of time listening to you and takes extra efforts to make sure that all your problems are adressed. Definitely doctor who cares about you, very knowledgeable, setting up realistic goals and putting you up on the right path to healthy living. Definitely best doctor I know, so far.
