Great Doctor who listens and takes his time to access your problem. There was absolutely no rush. He prescribed medication, set up a follow and my problem was resolved. He is patient and listens to what you have to say concerning your skin issues I would highly recommend Doctor Raab
Dr Raab is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I found him to be very pleasant and kind, especially with my husband who has memory issues. Dr Raab took extra time with him which was much appreciated. Highly recommend.
Negative 39582 stars. Incredibly dismissive, rude, condescending. I'm actually unsure how he has a job and is able to speak to people the way he does. I'm an ICU nurse know sometimes good doctors don't have good bedside manner, but he lied about medication dosing until corrected him and then he tried to back track.
Completely Disappointed As a member of the medical community myself, I am well aware of what a good bedside manner is comprised of which this person completely lacks. He is a fine demonstration of the shortcomings that our outdated paternalistic way of medicine left behind. Despite the hard work a majority of us have put in to fix these shortcomings, people like him still infect the field with their foul characteristics. Normally I’d make an exception for a less than ideal bedside manner in exchange for intelligent patient care. Unfortunately, neither was provided. In fact, lacking the decency to say hello or even introduce himself before commanding that a patient remove their shirt is concerning and borderline inappropriate. I recommend that patients advocate for themselves which includes choosing a good doctor who values your input and has your well-being at the forefront. He simply does not and I would, without reservation, recommend that you avoid bringing your care here. This is very unfortunate.
So rude, visit was extremely rushed. He was constantly trying to leave. I think we spent less then 4 minutes in the room together before he rushed out to see his next patient. Didn't even introduce himself before asking me to lift up my shirt to show him my issue. Worst doctor experience I've ever had.
The worst experience - he was rude and did not take the time to perform a complete body check. When I stated I was wearing a head covering he asked me do you look at your head if so I do not need to. he was dismissive and the visit was pointless. This is not the level of care that I have come to expect from this location as the previous provider was so thorough and caring.
This visit was about billing insurance and not patient care. he did not ask me to remove my hat and socks so a full body check was not preformed. When I asked him about acne he told me there is nothing to do. The the 'visit' abruptly ended when he had to take a call. One star is even too much for this doctor.
I have never been more underwhelmed and unimpressed with a provider. No attention was given to a thorough body check and no light or loupe was used to look at moles and questionable beauty marks. My hair was clipped up at the appointment and he did not bother to ask me to take it down so he can look at my scalp. When I mentioned a particular disease that I have he seemed unbothered by my discomfort and told me there is no cures. His attitude and demeanor were deplorable.
Don't waste your time with this horrible man Dr. Raab is the most unkind, unprofessional man i've ever met in my entire life. I came seeking advice on adult acne & what looked like little styes/pimples around my eyes. They were very painful. At minimum I expect some level of medical insight & care from my doctors. As a new patient you'd think he'd give a smile or ask about my concerns, nut no. He barely looked at me before prescribing an antibiotic & trying to push me out of the office. I think he was in the patient room for a total of 2 minutes... didn't offer advice or a diagnosis. He was condescending, talked over me, & cut me off before I was able to bring up the issue around my eye or ask questions. I hadn't filled out the patient forms yet, so it's not like he had reviewed my history prior. Honestly, I was so shocked by his abrasiveness that I couldn't help but break down in tears when he left the room. Never have I encountered such carelessness by a 'professional'. I DO NOT trust this guy & will be seeking care elsewhere.
Dr. Raab is the most unkind, unprofessional man i've ever met in my entire life. I'm so frustrated. I came seeking advice on adult acne and what looked like little styes or pimples around my eyes. They were very painful. I don't need much to be happy, but at minimum I expect some level of medical insight & care from my doctors (duh). As a new patient you'd think he would give a smile or ask about my concerns/history, nut no. He barely looked at me before prescribing an antibiotic and trying to push me out of the office. I think he was in the patient room for a total of 2 minutes... didn't offer advice or a diagnosis. When I tried to ask some clarifying questions (simple stuff like why might my face be reacting this way) he was condescending, talked over me, & cut me off before I was able to bring up the issue around my eye. I was taken aback by him dismissiveness and the amount of assumptions he made about me without listening to what I had to say. I hadn't even filled out the patient forms yet, so it's not like he had reviewed my history prior. Honestly, I was so shocked by his abrasiveness that I couldn't help but break down in tears when he left the room. The nurse practitioner was very kind. She brought me tissues and said I'm not the first person who has felt this way about Dr. Raab. If he stays on staff at the Illinois Dermatology Institute he will probably ruin the practice. Never have I encountered such carelessness by a "professional". I DO NOT trust this guy & will be seeking care elsewhere. I am writing this post to provide warning for future patients. Don't waste your time with this man who calls himself a doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
