Dr. Szela was the first of 3 doctors to see me in labor and delivery when I was in labor with my son. He barely introduced himself. I was 9 cm dilated and it was too late for an epidural so I was in extreme pain. He told me twice to stop making noises when I pushed. Unbelievable. I won’t be seeing him again.

Dr.Szela is super knowledgeable, left me at ease during my whole pregnancy.He is definitely an introvert, however his knowledge and calm demeanor is something I appreciated since I was nervous on my first pregnancy, and he is willing to spend time with you if you do have any questions.

He has been my doctor for over 25 years. He delivered my child and has been extremely caring and thorough throughout the years. I highly recommend him!

I recently had a robotic myomectomy for a 12 cm fibroid. Dr. Szela was direct and explained my options and clearly explained the risks of the surgery. Surgery was quick and my incisions are really small. My family was in recovery and he explained all the details about the outcome to them, I felt like I was in great hands and wouldn't trust anyone else in the future.

Phenomenal doctor! I cant believe reading some of these reviews that he is cold. He is a doctor who addresses issues and recommends solutions, not a clown. If you want someone to hold your hand and tell you everything will be okay, you belong at a kuku house. Dr Szela saved my life 3 years ago when i was loosing a crazy amount of blood due to an ectopic pregnancy and i wouldnt go to any other doctor. He is gentle and caring and make sure you come with questions, because he has all the answers!

He NEVER came to talk to me after my procedure. It took them a week to tell me exactly what they did to me. I asked for more pain medication within the first 2 weeks post-op and he refused to give it to me. He wouldn't answer my calls. I would never recommend this doctor to my worst enemy!

I've been seeing Dr Szela for 28 years. He is highly knowledgeable, experienced and compassionate. He always errs on the side of caution when dealing with anything is "abnormal" and is able to offer sound options and advise. I find him personable as I have been with him from my early 20s, through delivering my babies, and in to perimenopause. Sometimes appointment times run a little late, but it is due to the fact that he spend more than adequate amount of time on you and your care.
