Helena Keag's Online Review Report Card

I honestly am surprised by the good reviews. It's like we had totally different doctors! My first visit with Dr. Keag was awful. She was so stand offish, and loved to listen to herself talk. My visit was more about her talking about everything she knows then actually listening to what was wrong with me. I don't feel she listened to me at all. She refuses to REfill prescriptions for anxiety - which I was previously diagnosed and on for years, but offers no other solutions. Trying to get refills on regular meds takes days, sometimes a week with constant follow up calls. I had a sinus infection and it took 5 days from the day I called, for her nurse to call me back just to set up the appointment!! I have asthma, so even a cold is serious. There is no sense of urgency for any medical needs. I went to my OBGYN to get help! I switched to a new PCP this week and in the same day my prescriptions were refilled. She needs to work on her bedside manner and listen to her patients as opposed to talking about how much she knows about everything else without offering any real "care". I will never go back to her or refer anyone to her.

I started seeing Dr. Kaeg after a friend recommended her. She has been exceptional. She listens to me. She acts decisively. I really feel like she has my best interest as a #1 priority. Highly recommended!!!

Dr. Keag is AMAZING! I have never felt more at ease with a doctor. She takes her time and listens to your concerns and puts your mind at ease. She is also extremely good at explaining things in a way you can understand. I have been to other doctors in the Amita network that treat you like just a number in their system and Dr. Keag does the exact opposite of that! I will be bringing my entire family to her for all of our primary care needs! I would not hesitate to recommend her to any family or friends, matter of fact I already have!

THE BEST!I could have not asked for better care. I was having a major medical procedure performed and needed a Primary Care Physician (PCP) but did not have one. I schedule the appointment through ZOCDOC about two weeks in advance. No issues with appointment information carrying over to Dr. Keag's office or the appointment time:PROS:►Timely►Spent time getting to know me and my medical history►Worked very well with my orthopedic surgeon's office staff►Made me feel at ease►Actively listened to my concerns and more importantly responded in a thoughtful way that was specific to me.►Efficient: There was some issues with ortho's office sending all of the lab work, Dr. Keag's staff took in in stride, did not let it become a road block, and in end I was in and out in 45 minutes including signing all of the new patient paperwork, getting flu shot, getting a full patient history interview and EKG.CONS:►NoneRECOMMENDATION:I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Keag to anyone. I have a physiology background, so when I asked medical questions, I felt like I was in position to know if I was being paid lip service by the Dr or her staff, and I NEVER felt that I was.

I love Dr. Keag! She has taken the time to get to know me & listen to my concerns as a patient. She's done research on issues that I've felt ignored or brushed aside on before. I have found my perfect doctor!! Would recommend her to everyone!
