I had hip replacement with Dr. Kachar and all turned out great. He answered my questions in every visit, was nice to deal with, had really nice helpful staff. I had no complications and felt he did a really good job on my surgery. He cares about people and being thorough. I would definitely recommend.

I visited Dr. Kachar for knee pain.!

I had been suffering for 10 years with leg hip pain. The source was not obvious to me and within that timeframe became so bad I couldn't walk without limping. It was debilitating chronic pain that I thought eventually would take away my ability to walk altogether. I had seen multiple medical professionals of different fields regarding this and no one could diagnose me despite MRI's therapies etc. Then I met Dr Kachar who diagnosed me after 1 xray. His direct communicative style, supportive confidence and wonderful bedside manner gave me hope when I was both mentally and physically broken. I had hip replacement surgery within 3 weeks of my first visit. Here I am 6 weeks later, recovered, able to walk and with no pain. It is truly a miracle. Today he gave me the "all clear" to do all the activities I want. I cannot say enough good about this doctor as both a competent professional and also about his warmth and kindness through this process. His staff is also fantastic--especially Janelle who was always there to field questions. Thanks so so much, Dr Kachar and your great staff.

Could not be happier Dr. Kachar was recommended to me. From the 1st visit thru a knee replacement to the follow up appointments, Dr. Kachar and his entire team were and are outstanding. All appointments, scheduling and medications were well planned and made available as needed. Along with the entire staff at Northwest Community Hospital and surgical team, my procedure went a whole lot better than I ever expected. Dr. Kachar is a wonderful person and a fantastic surgeon. He takes time with everyone and really cares. He gave me a new hip and after almost 2 years it is better than my good one! Every day I take a walk I thank God for Dr. Kachar...great work Doctor!

I had a great experience with Dr. Kachar and his team at Northwest Surgicare. I had my second surgery by Dr. Kachar this time on my right knee,(2 years ago on my left knee) for a meniscus tear and lateral release to realign my kneecap. I feel good today, 1 day after surgery. He is by far one of the very best in orthopedic care. Always takes time to explain exactly what is going to be done and answer any questions you have. Highly recommend! He was also awarded best orthopedic surgeon in the Northwest Suburbs
