saw dr raab a while back for some problems i was having. while his diagnosis was probably accurate, i was never given a signed prescription even when i requested one. i was given the prescription - just not signed. i even called the office and asked for a prescription; same result. so i couldn't fill it on my own. i did get 1000 calls from their partner pharmacy that charged much more than my local CVS. my bet is that dr. raab gets a kickback from this pharmacy we get calls from.

do not recommend, saw him in Skokie, I paid $60 just to talk to him for 2 mins and get a steroid prescribed for my eczema. Didn’t even take the time to listen to my concerns, just kept pushing steroid creams and pills. which first of all I do not like using steroids let alone the pills because they’re really bad for you, but this was a last resort option for a little patch that’s on my face that won’t go away, Which also is infected. The steroid cream that he prescribed worked, but as soon as I stopped using it, That little patch that I’ve been trying to get rid of has come back. Do not recommend.

Great Doctor who listens and takes his time to access your problem. There was absolutely no rush. He prescribed medication, set up a follow and my problem was resolved. He is patient and listens to what you have to say concerning your skin issues I would highly recommend Doctor Raab

Came into to have skin issue looked at on June 19th. Walked in, they ask you to pay 1st. Was given paperwork. 5 mins later was put in exam room. 5 mins later doctor arrives. Looks at my face will prescribe a cream. Moles will be $2-300 to remove each. They Sent my prescription to Jewel Osco. No clue why..... Clearly they didn't read my paperwork properly. That's not my pharmacy + Jewel cannot fill it.. so today I had to call the doctor office again to have my prescription sent to a pharmacy in Indiana that will mail it to me. This has beyond unorganized & ridiculous. I won't return.

Dr Raab is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I found him to be very pleasant and kind, especially with my husband who has memory issues. Dr Raab took extra time with him which was much appreciated. Highly recommend.

Negative 39582 stars. Incredibly dismissive, rude, condescending. I'm actually unsure how he has a job and is able to speak to people the way he does. I'm an ICU nurse know sometimes good doctors don't have good bedside manner, but he lied about medication dosing until corrected him and then he tried to back track.

I went here when i was 16, very insecure about my acne he took once glance at my skin and prescribed me antibiotics. they worked..! but my hair was falling out like crazy, on my next appointment i told him i no longer wanted to use it and he flipped out on me as if i told him something terrible. he then proceeded to prescribe me something else that didn’t work and i was back to feeling very insecure. i’m going back a few years older now since my insurance doesn’t accept anybody else… we shall see if it’s any better.

Completely Disappointed As a member of the medical community myself, I am well aware of what a good bedside manner is comprised of which this person completely lacks. He is a fine demonstration of the shortcomings that our outdated paternalistic way of medicine left behind. Despite the hard work a majority of us have put in to fix these shortcomings, people like him still infect the field with their foul characteristics. Normally I’d make an exception for a less than ideal bedside manner in exchange for intelligent patient care. Unfortunately, neither was provided. In fact, lacking the decency to say hello or even introduce himself before commanding that a patient remove their shirt is concerning and borderline inappropriate. I recommend that patients advocate for themselves which includes choosing a good doctor who values your input and has your well-being at the forefront. He simply does not and I would, without reservation, recommend that you avoid bringing your care here. This is very unfortunate.

So rude, visit was extremely rushed. He was constantly trying to leave. I think we spent less then 4 minutes in the room together before he rushed out to see his next patient. Didn't even introduce himself before asking me to lift up my shirt to show him my issue. Worst doctor experience I've ever had.

Worst doctor I have ever been to - rude and condescending is not even the worst of my experience. I go yearly for a body check and have always felt 'checked' at my previous provider, with Dr. Raab he threw me a melanoma brochure and told me we are partners so make sure to check your body. I have a noticeable skin disease and when I asked if he has heard of it he goes of course but there is no cure and when I mentioned it was getting worse he was unkind and basically told me to live with it. This visit was to check off a box on patients seen to collect insurance payments and not one of actually treating a patient. Additionally did not ask me my history or address any other concerns I brought up. He should not be practicing medicine as he is a danger to patients as there is no actual care occurring.
