I have had two outpatient procedures performed by Dr. Prakash and can say without hesitation that he is by far the best gastroenterologist I have ever seen. It is not often a doctor has the combination of excellent skills and wonderful bedside manner, but Dr. Prakash is the package deal. He explained everything thoroughly and met with me after both procedures to review the procedure with me and give me post-op instructions. In addition, his nursing staff (at both Advocate's outpatient facility and the Digestive Health facility at Rush-Copley) are excellent! I highly recommend Dr. Prakash.

Dr. Prakash called me this week once he received my messages and we are scheduled for a follow-up meeting. Quality medical care and communications is key for me and that is the reason for the above 4 star rating.

Dr. Prakash is an excellent GI doctor, he listens, explains, is personable and professional. He has great repore with his patients. He is an excellent surgeon with a wealth of knowledge, who actually cares about his patients. Anyone who is lucky enough to have Dr. Ravi Prakash as a Doctor is blessed and in very good hands. Thanks for all you have done.
