I went to Dr Kakodkar to have cryo ballon ablation, he is very kind knowledgeable and friendly. He never made me feel rushed, answered all of my questions and explained the procedure so that I understood exactly what would happen. He even asked me what my favorite music was on my way to the OR, and played the music while they were prepping me for my procedure. I can’t praise him and his staff enough, they made a scary situation not so scary! I highly recommend him.

Dr. K. spent plenty time explaining the causes, and correction options for my medical issue. He explained different alternatives of therapy or resolution in a very understandable fashion. He respected my choice, and staff followup was superb! I definitely recommend him with utmost confidence...

Dr Kakodkar is very eager to perform unnecessary surgery. Was told I needed a pacemaker and he would do the surgery that same day. Did not feel comfortable with the situation and walked out of the hospital. Subsequently I went to see 2 other cardiologists and both told me that I did NOT need a pacemaker. I do not trust this man and suggest that you get a second opinion before you let him operate on you.

It has been my experience that Dr. Kakodkar does not listen to his patients, or show empathy or concern. He completely disregarded the fact that my insurance changes on the first of the year and my financial concerns. Dr. did not inform staff I needed procedure this year as I had informed him. Instead of receiving the ICD I need this year, I have had to postpone indefinitely the ICD and return my portable unit. Supervisor at Dreyer confirmed the procedure could have been done in my timetable.

I went to Dr Kakodkar's office, nervous and a little scared. After talking with him about my procedure, I felt much better. He makes you feel very confident in his ability. I would recommend him highly!
