List of Andrea Giamalva's Reviews
Dr. Giamalva always takes her time and makes me feel like she is really listening! She has already reviewed my chart before coming in so she knows why I’m there and not looking it up while I’m sitting there. She is knowledge and compassionate. I’m very picky about having a doctor, who is not only knowledgeable, but also compassionate and good bedside manner. Dr. Giamalva is all of these things!
When other doctors have brushed off concerns and been generally unconcerned, she listened and dug deeper. She gave us opportunity to follow and up and receive the care we needed. She is an answer to prayer for our family and I am grateful.
Dr. Giamalva gives people the opportunity to improve their health and lower risks with changes in lifestyle before prescribing medication (when possible). She monitors progress and works with you to achieve optimal health. That’s real care! Thank you!
Dr. Giamalva was very thorough and efficient. She answered all my questions in detail. She even went above and beyond to help me with insurance questions. I appreciate the extra time spent going over these details!
I have always had a wonderful experience and have felt heard and taken care of.
I’ve become disappointed with my experience with Dr Giamalva. I don’t mind that she runs late but unfortunately on each occasion that I patiently waited to see her I felt rushed when asking questions regarding my own health issues. I thought I was seeing her for a yearly physical today and left with her only listening to my heart and me asking if I could at least get some blood work done since I had fasted. Dr Giamalva’s interest was more placed on moving on to the next patient regardless that I waited more than a month for an appointment and an hour in the waiting room to get my own medical issues addressed. I left feeling like I need to find a different doctor who actually wants to address my health needs.
Very informative on birth control and made the pap experience easy going and not awkward.
Every time I have met with her, Dr. Giamalva, I had a positive experience. She listened to my concerns, was patient and was open to discussion. She never talked 'down' to me, (as some MD's do). I also did not feel like she was rushing me to hurry up so that she could attend to the next patient. I felt like she valued me as a person and genuinely cared. I highly recommend her.
My experience with this doctor was horrible. I do not recommend her. She needs to go back to her hole where she crawled out of and become a makeup sales person. She has NO WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF TRUE MEDICINE
When I go to seek help regarding mental health and prescriptions she dismisses anything I tell her without giving anytime or genuine care about the topic. Very disappointed. I don’t like seeking help and not being taken seriously.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
