I have been a customer of Maria approx. two and a half years. She is a highly professional, knowledgeable and thoughtful lady. Maria has cured the arthritis in my knees, hands, and swelling in my feet. This past week she performed a Lymphatic Drainage Massage on my arms and chest after a week long illness of sinus, ear, and upper respiratory infections (I cont. w/meds. also).3 hrs. layer a tremendous amount of yellow fluids started to drain from my sinus area for about 30 min. I immediately rinse my sinuses and felt much release.

Maria came highly recommended from a good friend of mine. I had Plantar Fasciitis, poor circulation in my right shin, and lower back sciatic pain. I have been going to her for 8 months and all I can say is she has God sent healing hands 🙌 Maria is a very knowledgeable and capable massage therapist and wellness healer, and really great to talk to. She is extremely professional, friendly & a gifted healer of pain and inflammation. She found more knots and places in my legs and back I wasn’t even aware of. I’ve struggled to find a good masseuse in Chicago that provides a relaxing experience while still putting in the work to give a good deep tissue massage. With pain comes inflammation, which in turn, causes more pain. It’s like a lose-lose situation. Maria uses the TENS unit to help loosen the tension in my back and relieve my Inflammation as well. I have an improved quality of life as a result of my pain management with Maria’s services. I am definitely sleeping better, have an abundance of energy and walking better. Part of my wellness therapy is Cupping which stimulates my skin and muscles and I have better blood circulation, less toxins in my body and relief from chronic sinusitis. I don’t have to take any of the pain meds that I was prescribed and the cellulite body fat has improved on my legs and buttocks. Maria understands the human body and how to heal it. Highly recommended!

I’ve had a few sessions with Maria and cannot imagine my life without our weekly sessions! If you are someone who struggles with anxiety, Maria is a comforting presence and great at walking you through the treatments and explaining what she is doing as she’s doing it. I have never gotten a professional massage or physical therapy before working with Maria but decided it was time to see someone after realizing how much pain was dominating my life. I have been experiencing a lot of low grade pain in my back, shoulders, feet and hands and every week it feels like it gets a little better. We also did cupping treatment which was my first ever experience and I feel like it released a lot of stress in my body. Maria is very honest and comforting which makes it easy to just trust the process and try things outside of my comfort zone. She confirmed for me what I’ve been feeling for a while which is that I’ve developed carpal tunnel in my hands. It was such a relief to have that validation and now feel like I’m on the road to getting my life back! I also struggle with anxiety and coming to these sessions have been helpful in learning to relax my body and clear my mind. Maria is so helpful and great at explaining everything she does and what lifestyle changes you can make to help maintain progress. I had a cervical fusion 12 or 13 years ago. Even after the surgery, my left shoulder continued to be very uncomfortable and painful. After treatment at Broadleaf Health and Wellness, I could not believe the instant relief of the pain. I was able to sleep without elevating my left arm. I do plan to continue my treatments.
