James Kim's Online Review Report Card

Upon visit, I thought he was great. Little was I to know that he never wrote the Supporting Letter to get my elec. stim device, nor did he even provide the insurance w/anything at all, until Humana called him. Even then, he only sent visit notes, stating that I wanted the device, not that he was asking for an authorization for it. Then I discover his referral coordinator never even contacted the supplier of the device, though I received falsehood after falsehood from her saying she left them messages they never returned. The company verified she never contacted them, period. When Humana & I discovered the total dishonesty from him & his office, he proceeded to get me dismissed from his practice, & then had the further gall to tell my primary that it was rejected because it was "Not the standard of care." I find 30+ med journals & articles stating it WAS the Standard of Care after Pelvic therapy didn't work. Dishonest & deceitful as can be, plus his cover-up of it are despicable

I am a patient of Dr. James Kim. I found out in the last couple of days that he has closed his practice and left no other number or email to contact him. I found all of this out from my Pharmacist, who had been trying to contact Dr. Kim to get my prescription medications refilled. The number was disconnected and no new number is available. I was shocked. What kind of doctor does that to their patients? He did not say a word about closing when I had a phone visit with him 3 months ago. He never sent a letter or email about closing his practice either, nothing! I'm scrabbling trying to find a doctor to get my prescription medications i take daily. Also he has all my medical records. I am very upset with Dr. James Kim. He has me in a bad situation with no warning. He could have told me in our phone visit 3 months ago he was closing his practice to give me time to find another primary care doctor. Im worried about being able to get my meds with no notice at all right. So very disappointed in Dr. Kim and his staff.

I was a regular patient at Northwest Urological Associates for a few years and experienced nothing but utter rudeness and a poor attitude from the front desk and the staff of Northwest Urological Associates. The only reason I didn't change doctors was because I didn't want to go through the hassle. Today, I only called to make my yearly exam and experience the same rudeness and poor attitude that I have for years. I decided not to deal with this anymore. I decided to change doctors.

Today, I only called to make my yearly exam and experience the same rudeness and poor attitude that I have for years. I decided not to deal with this anymore. I decided to change doctors.

This last visit was the thing that finally pushed me over the edge to NEVER return to this office. First of all I called for an emergency visit and was told they couldn't squeeze me in and I would have to wait until the next day. When I finally got to get in there after dealing with what was wrong, as always Dr Kim tried pushing blood tests on me as well as tellin me his wife could give me a pelvic exam. It is noted in my file that I already have othe doctors for those specific things, why am I still having this PUSHED on me?! As I'm leaving I made sure I asked again if I would get a phone call for my lab results since the doctor completely avoided that, the receptionist told me I would. 5 days passed with no phone call and when I called them, Dr Kim did not apologize. Just told me "mistakes happen" and I should have called them. If I'm told ill get a call of my results, I should no matter what. I'm beyond angry and am with this place every time I go. I'm definitely finding a new doctor after this!
