Dr Blount is by far one of the nicest and most caring doctors we have had the pleasure to work with. She has taken time off her vacation to call us, and has been a big part of our daughter success. We met her in the hospital as she was the pediatrician making the rounds and she was the key to getting our daughters diagnosed, which is the reason our girl is doing so great. She is compassionate and listens to all concerns, and when unsure has no problem talking with other physicians and researching to make sure that she isn’t missing anything. She is willing to learn with you and doesn’t mind listening to research she might have not heard of, which for someone who’s child has a rare disease, is very important. We couldn’t recommend her more, and she now takes care of our other kids as well

Dr. Blount seems like a very good pediatrician. We switched to a different Dr. because she didn't seem to be a good fit for us. She was overly cautious and was always running a battery of tests and labs. For some people she may be a very good fit, but not for us.

The single worst experience my child has ever had with a doctor. She performed a treatment on my daughter by reading out of a book. As a result of her inappropriate use of the topical medicine, my daughter had severe blistering. I went to the head of dermatology at Loyola. He was mortified by what this woman's inexperience and arrogance had done to my daughter. He said it was not a reaction as DuPage medical and Dr. Blount claimed. No problem with a single doctor since and my child is now 13

Easy to get the appointment I need, no wait, and entire staff especially Dr. Blount was very nice! Everything I was looking for in a doctor for my boys. Very happy.
