Dr szwedo is very caring and knowledgeable. Friendly doesn't rush you out of room

I went to her with concerns over difficulty conceiving. She didn’t greet me or introduce herself at all when she walked in and just started telling me that getting pregnant wasn’t difficult and she didn’t understand why I was even there. I wanted to ask about symptoms I had a few months prior and the possibility of having an early miscarriage or chemical pregnancy. As I was describing the intense bleeding after being over a week late and thinking I may I have been pregnant, she shrugged and said “well I guess not, huh?” I sat there with tears in my eyes and she just kept repeating to me that getting pregnant “isn’t that hard.” I have never felt worse about myself in an appointment and have been afraid to seek out the opinion of another doctor to help my husband and I conceive. Truly horrible experience. Every month since that it hasn’t happened I just hear her voice in my head mocking me and telling me “it’s not hard”, like somehow I’m failing for not being pregnant. If you’re considering scheduling, don’t; if you’ve already scheduled, cancel.

I had a miscarriage, had d&c. my second one. she was on call gyno. had 0 bed side manner, barely talked to us. was there for 5 hours for her to poke her head in for 1 minute and tell me “it’s fine, your fine, ultrasound is normal…ur pictures are normal they look worse in a toilet.” all staff at cdh was great…. except this doctor was horrible, mind you blood clots the size of my fist were poring out for 2 hours straight. scary that a doctor with that behavior delivers babies and shame on her for such terrible bedside manner to people who suffer miscarriages. shame on her

I made sure that I was the first appointment of the day at 8am so I could make it to work on time. She was late, walked in at 8:17am and I was back in MY CAR at 8:24am. She never introduced herself, quickly started checking my lungs WHEN I WAS TALKING and asking her questions. She gaslight me and made me feel like my questions were stupid, now I'm wishing I pushed back on some of them because I need answers. She actually checked inside of me for about 1 second, maybe she looked, maybe she didn't. It was so fast it felt completely pointless. Then, when I went to pick up my birth control she prescribed me a DIFFERENT pill. We never spoke about a different pill and I was satisfied with the pill I was on for ~7 years. I messaged her through the DMG portal and a nurse responded, I said I'd like to speak with Michelle and would like the pill I was on prior sent to my pharmacy. She never responded. This was 3 weeks ago. She is the worst GYNO I've ever seen, I will never schedule her again.

Dr. was over an hour late and never apologized. Shared some concerns I was having and she said “welcome to menopause.” Found this demeaning. I had to ask if she read my recent bloodwork reports, felt like I was leading the visit and conversation. Examine was extremely brief. After Office visit report, included items we never discussed almost like it was copy and pasted. Very disappointed; however, staff was friendly

I've gone to Dr. Szwedo for years and feel comfortable and confident in her care.

I cant tell you how much we love dr Szwedo. She is knowledgeable and caring and very helpful during myhigh risk pregnancy.

I was a new patient with Dr. Szwedo and wish I would've gone to anyone but her. Absolutely no bedside manner and no compassion for her patients. I waited over and hour for my appointment. When she did finally come into the room she didn't even take the time to introduce herself. Instead I got an, "ok what's going on". I explained my reason for the visit and my concerns and they were almost immediately dismissed. She spoke as she was doing my annual exam (didn't even tell me what she was going to do before doing it). She advised I schedule an appointment with my primary, even though the concerns I have should strictly be discussed with an OBGYN. I will never return to this location and will be finding a different doctor.

Lacks understanding and listening skills towards her patients. May have experience but lacks connection and compassion. If you had your opinion by her and still in doubt please get another opinion may save your time and health. By experience, i already lost my options please don't loose yours.

I have had Dr. Szwedo as my gynecologist for years and I just love her! I could not be happier with a doctor. She is professional, listens to my issues and provides me with information and solutions. Dr. Szwedo is also kind and gentle which makes the visits so much easier. She has seen me through pre-menopause, menopause, and now I am well into my 60s. I would highly recommend her.
