Fang Li's Online Review Report Card

Horrible advice and just doesn't seem to care. I couldn't even get her to look me in the eyes while she talked to me. Other doctors who read her notes have told me to never go to her ever again. She never even looked at passed medical work from other doctors who diagnosed me. Never requested them nothing... I brought her all my paperwork and she said she didn't need it. (mri's everything)

Very rude and does not listen at all. She didn't look at my medical records and changed my medicines around. Also made me sign some screwed up paperwork that had nothing to do with me or my condition. I called my prior neurologist from Rush University and was told to not return to her and they put my prescriptions back to how they was. To top it off, they sent my bills straight to collections, not one letter in the mail. Even with having full coverage insurance that they have in the system. They took copies, I called they have them on record. Just refuse to use it for billing i guess. I spent more time on the phone with the billing and my surgeon than she spent actually looking at my paperwork or asking me about my condition. I told her I was on disability and she ignored it. Going through this I have learned i'm not the only patient this doctor has done this too. I brought every medical file from my whole life on a usb drive and all my diagnoses on paper from Rush, and mri images just for them. She said she doesn't need it,. and just treated me like i was a liar. Couldn't even look me in the eyes.

Dr. Li is a very good doctor. Listens and takes to explain issues.

Wouldn’t give me the opportunity to ask questions or explain symptoms. Rushed through procedure, didn’t explain anything she was doing. Poor bedside manner & far from professional.

Dr Li had no interest in listening to the patient I was assisting. She hurried the poor girl who had speech issues after an episode or attack of some sort. When trying to assist with getting a follow up the office staff were rude/condescending and said it is not their problem they didnt have room for the young lady. Dr. Li will not return calls nor will her staff.

Dr. Li was able to make a diagnosis that had eluded many other doctors for over 30 years. For that, I am thankful. She spent a lot of time with me in the process and didn't treat me

I have been with Dr Li for a good 20-25 years. She has seen and guided me through some very difficult days. Dr Li not only listens to what you are saying she hears word for word. She is interested and cares for you as a person not only as a patient. She makes sure that you understand why she may refer you for further tests or another medical person. Dr Li is someone you can trust and feel confident with. I am fortunate to have met with Dr Li and feel that I have always been in her best interest.

One of most informative, understanding, and shows concern M.D. in the Central- Illinois area. She save my life, me and my family are thankful:)

I believe Dr. Li is a good dr. and I trust her. However, her front office staff leave a lot to be desired. We were supposed to have a call about a med, still waiting, a month later. Dr. Li does not seem to have any follow up in place with patients. We are still waiting on a diagnosis and what to do next. I would feel much better if I thought that the staff really cares about the patients and I don't. I wonder if Dr. Li and the other doctors even read this and even care.

A wise person once told me when I started my own profession that power can be used to help patients/clients or not to help them. A good doctor uses that power to help people. That is not true with this doctor; she only cared about her own "liabilty" and not for her patient in the experience I had with her and that was taken way out of reasonable bounds. And once challenged, she'll try to find any reason to prove herself right instead of listening. I was an advocate for someone involved with her and she made snap decisions in 5 minutes which unfairly affected the patient's life and then would not discuss it or return calls.
