Scott Pinter's Online Review Report Card

I am now on the second surgery to correct the mess Dr. Pinter made of my eye and my life on a routine cataract surgery. Surgery to replace the lens would have been easiest and most effective right after the surgery. However, Dr. Pinter seemed to think putting off dealing with the resulting negative dysphotopsia would would resolve it. Based on examinations by two other surgeons since, I found it IS a verifiable problem caused by acrylic lenses. I am now on the second surgery to correct the mess Dr. Pinter made of my eye on a routine cataract surgery. I was passed back and forth between him and Dr. Landess rather than seek resolution to the issue when it would have been possible. He is friendly enough upfront, but if there is a problem that attitude turns to CYA and arrogant dismissal. My recommendation would be to find a surgeon that keeps up with his field and is willing to help patients productively resolve problems if they turn up.

An exceptional no nonsense doctor who is highly trained and skilled. He explains things well and gives patients comfort in his abilities and cures.

I would highly recommend Dr. Scott Pinter. I find him to be very knowledgeable. I've had several procedures done and I'm very pleased with the results. I value his opinion and professionalism. So happy he's my doctor.

I went online to change eye doctors and saw this Dr on my list of in service providers. I called in the summer to schedule an eye appointment. I walked in days before my eye exam to confirm my insyrance worked. The lady at the front desk said yes you are good. Had my eye exam and at checkout was charged 150 saying I was not covered. But I was covered for medical. Confusng and frustrating since I was there for an EYE exam. Wasted time, money and on top of that sent out into the sun after dialtion with no warnng or glass cover to protect my eyes. I should have stayed with my previous Eye Doctor who would have provided way better customer service!

I absolutely love Dr Pinter and Nancy. They did my Lasik surgery about 4 yrs ago and the results were GREAT. They were very kind, answered all my questions, made me feel calm through all the procedures and are extremely skilled. Dr Pinter is the only Dr I would trust to do surgery on my children’s eyes. So, last year when my daughter had difficulties, i took her straight to Dr Pinter.. I truly believe he is the best eye surgeon there is.

I was sent here for an emergency check after being seen in a prompt care. This doctor was cold, condescending, and his manner was overall arrogant and dismissive. I would never go back, and wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Pinter is an excellent Opthamologist. I have severe issues with dry eyes and I had been to a different eye clinic that kept replacing the plug in my left tear duct with no avail. Dr. Pinter closed the tear duct after trying a plug that didn't stay in. I could tell the difference within a few days using prescription eye drops. He's been great with my prescription glasses and the only Dr. that has been able to get me the closest to 20/20 vision. I definitely recommend him to others.

Dr. Pinter was disrespectful and unprofessional. He was rude to me and yelled at me in front of my daughter when I asked for further explanation. He then proceeded to go into the hall and huff and puff and make comments about me to his staff. There was even a staff member who was making comments about us in the hall with our door open about us and discussing patient medical information loudly in the hall. I do believe this is illegal. I am an ICU nurse and I have never been treated so horribly by a doctor ever in my career. The staff should be have patience and be willing to explain information to you. It wasn't that I didn't believe him I just didn't understand some of the information.

This doctor knows what he's doing. My case was very difficult and long and he not only diagnosed it correctly and treated it aggressively, but was readily available to answer my questions. THe office staff is extremely responsive, calling back in a timely manner. Dr Pinter and his staff will also return calls to your other doctors for consultation on treatment. This is one of the best practices I have ever been involved with.
