Wynn Kao's Online Review Report Card

Dr Kao is personal, professional, and competent.

I was scheduled with Dr Kao for my first scan of my body and he made me feel very ashamed. He barely looked at my body. I had a couple different rashes and he said nothing about that until I asked him about it. I also am experiencing hair loss. He said there was several things they could do, but first wanted to do a round of blood tests. Once the results came in, a woman from the office called me and was very rude saying there is nothing wrong with me and to not come back again. I asked her if I should not go to follow up appointment and she said no. This hair loss is very upsetting and I am at a loss, literally. I would not recommend Dr Kao for anything. He has no social skills whatsoever and makes you feel ashamed of yourself. Whoever called me with results should not work with people either.

1 st time pt. with Dr. Kao. Felt very comfortable. Nurse Brianna and Dr Kao was very informative and spoke not just to my mother (the patient) but to me also so we understood all issues. I would recommend Dr Kao.

The doctor lacked social skills and made me very uncomfortable throughout my visit. I was not properly checked nor thoroughly.

Barely looked at my issue. Has repeated same treatment 2x. Both failed, and very painful. When I suggested alternative treatments I was dismissed. Extreme pain, no follow up. No instructions for care. Mayo clinic has specific instructions I was not given. If I had not read these I would be back for a 3rd treatment. Meanwhile he's charging me for all these "treatments" that aren't working and is basically cruel at the same time. When will Shupbach return? She's awesome.

So I was a new patient to this office. I was schedule with a female at first. As I wired in tiny crowded waiting room it was over 1 hour before I was web. No mention to me that the provider was running behind. I finally got in a room. A young man asked why I was there. I told him I needed a skin check. He had me put on a paper gown and he left the room. 5 minutes latter in walks a Male doctor. Now I am not a prude by any means but I was scheduled with a lady. So he asked me if I had any concerns and I pointed to a spot on my thigh. He then looked at two other freckles circled them and asked if ok to remover them. He was in there less then 5-10 minutes out the door he want . He came back in after I had been numbed up and I had to ask him to look at my back and a pit on my bikini line. To me the visit was not thorough nor comprehensive at all . Once the pathology labs come back I will see another dermatologist for a COMPLETE skin check. Not worth the wait!!! Btw I work for doctors so I know what a “quick” visit is! This one was like lightening fast! Not happy about it at all!

After he came in 30+ minutes late he quickly - and I mean quickly - started a body scan of any skin issues as I had requested. No explanation of what he was doing, all while I sat in a terrible paper gown that was more awkward than just being entirely naked would have been. I had to ask twice to have one area looked at and he barely glanced as if he didn't want to see it (and it was an embarrassing area already!) I get it - I wouldn't want to look at a middle-aged person either but it was his career choice! I got two areas frozen and one mole removed and I hope that is the end of it. I do not want to go back for another mortifying experience.
