Bryan Philips Md's Online Review Report Card

I believe Dr. B. Phillips is a good doctor, but canceled him as my eye doctor due to unacceptable long wait times at appointments. If I was late for meetings with my paying clients, I would be out of business. Doctors should be held to the same standard. Your patients are your customers. Please remember that and show them the respect they deserve.

Dr Bryan and Dr Dawn Phillips no longer accept Humana patients BUT it took 6 wks, many, many phone calls, and finally an in-person visit to find this out. I've used Dr Bryan for 12 years and had very successful cataract surgeries in Dec 2019 but now that my eyes burn and my vision is cloudy, I can't go to him without paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars. His staff today (which for some reason included Dr Dawn) was rude and non-cooperative. They went off the charts complaining about Humana - everything from screwing up the tax ID which was actually a lie to having to fought for months to get their money. I had the Humana rep on the phone and he heard it all. Dr Bryan is a good doctor but he came out and complained. Not once did anyone show any concern for me...the patient. Looking for a new doctor now but wondering how long before I can get my old records. That should raise my blood pressure even more.

This place has no value for Ethics. Do your homework before you trust this place with your health. Doctor decides what billing code to use to extract maximum money out of you. It does not matter what reason you went to see the doctor, insurance and everywhere else you will be tagged with some other eye issues. I would not recommend anyone to this facility ever again. You are stuck with this big bill and doctor won't talk to you to confront the issue. Be Aware...spread the word and help stop this crime!

Long, long wait time. I’ve waited 30 minutes and still waiting to be seen. Receptionist took a call as I was in the middle of my sentence. I don’t recommend this practice to anyone! We NOT be returning!

I admit that most all doctors I have seen lately are good. But I was so impressed with Dr, Phillips I was looking for some way to reach him and say thanks. I had cataract surgery in California, many miles away. It was good, but I had double vision soon later. Dr. Phillips talked to me about prisms. While I knew about prisms a bit, I did not know they were available in glasses. He tested me, wrote a prescription, and now I can see normally again. What a joy!

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Bryan Phillips due to some unexplained changes to my vision. While my appointment was a little delayed I was very impressed with his professionalism and explanations. He listened carefully and responded to my detailed questions. Highly recommended.

The best surgeon for eyes, especially cataracts. I have recommended Dr. B. Phillips. He is the BEST.

You can only add a review once a month. I had to wait a month to update my previous post. I was very angry at the fact that I needed to make all extra payments before I get my kid's record and subscription released as I was told by the office. However, a couple of days later, I received a voicemail from the office asking about a fax number to fax the needed documents. Out of honesty, I'm writing this post.

I was misinformed about the copay to be $60. Had no idea the doctor is a specialist when my kids can get free vision exam elsewhere. It's totally my fault. Insurance denied payment. Now I owe this clinic $180. I'm paying in increments of $45 a month as I'm suffering with multiple medical bills, not that I choose to be in such a position! They won't release my kids records (including a prescription for eye glasses) until all payments go through. Professionally the doctor did his job, however, I cannot understand how you can cure people when you have no humanity at heart. I'm totally disappointed by doctors becoming money collecting machines rather than choosing the profession to help others.
