Dr Shah is a gem. She is passionate about health and treat you not as a patient but as a partner in your wellbeing. She pays attention to details and always ask if you are comfortable with the suggested treatment plan. I feel I really have someone who threats me as a human.

In my personal experience, I noticed a contrast in Dr. Shah's communication styles that I found difficult to reconcile. While she was personable, empathetic, and appeared knowledgeable during in-person consultations, my experience communicating with her through MyChart was different. I felt that my questions and concerns were not always addressed in a manner that I found to be collaborative. Moreover, in my interactions, I felt Dr. Shah was less inclined to discuss the opinions and findings of specialists, which is something I personally value in a primary care provider. She seemed to expect me to accept the specialists' recommendations without exploring or discussing them with me. For those who are proactive and prefer to be highly involved in their healthcare decisions, Dr. Shah might not be the best fit, based on my personal experience. Thankfully, I have options for primary care providers in my area, and I have found a physician whose approach better aligns with my preferences.
