List of Pioneer Physicians Urgent Care's Reviews
Helped me with everything I needed and was very timely
Took my son as a walk-in on a Saturday morning. I was thankful to get him checked same day. The staff was so great at communication about what we could expect. They gave my son a juice to keep his fluids up without us having to ask. They have a very clean facility. You don't feel crowded and claustrophobic like you might in other clinics. There is so much bright light coming in. It isn't gloomy at all. The front desk staff made checking in super seamless. The NP who saw my son was amazing. Reem was very kind. My son went in for one thing and got treated for that and something else. My son has visible eczema, which I have never had examined thinking my at home care was enough. The NP took it upon herself to ask if I wanted to address that while in office, and I said sure. She went above and beyond to make sure my son was taken care of and that made the entire experience worth it for us. Thank you so much Pioneer Physicians! We will definitely return whenever someone is feeling under the weather in my household!
Went in for a stitch up on a finger, and was asked to come back in a few days to make sure it was healing okay. They billed me for TWO appointments for that. Then they send you to another place to handle billing inquiries where they deflect your question so you don't get resolution. DO NOT RECOMMEND
I booked an appointment on ZocDoc since the name of the physician was someone I had heard of before and had great reviews. When I arrived I was seen by another provider with no explanation given. I felt this was a bait and switch to have an appointment with a doctor I was familiar with only to be changed over to a PA. The PA ran tests and referred me to another Physician outside the practice. The next issue I encountered was they requested I make a follow up for my blood test results before I left. I declined. They then said they would give them to me over the phone (all normal results) but I received a full charge for a visit from them to my insurance for a 4 minute call. I work in health care and give patients results for CANCER over the phone with lengthy discussions and referrals and hand holding and we do not charge for this as is it part of their original office visit charge. This is a common scam that I tried to avoid. Owing $150 for a ohone call is extremely frustrating and my trust in this office is extremely low. Please beware.
If i could give them 0 I would. They knew why I was there and that they couldn’t help me but still made me wait an hour to be seen to be told they would “write a script” to go to my provider. Not sure why it’s listed as an emergency care as they don’t provide basic services- just wanted to charge my insurance.
This was the best walk-in clinic I've been to, to date! A couple of minutes after our paperwork was filled out we were seen. The doctor came in right away and was very attentive and thorough with my daughter. thank you so much for helping us today, lifesavers! We will definitely be back!
Rude and dismissive that’s all I have to say if your a person of color I would advise you to go to a different urgent care, when I had asked the nurse practitioner shorter Hispanic lady with dark red hair and a slick back bun not sure of her name I forgot was but she was writing the second prescription for me and when I had asked what is this for? I was told that “your not getting anything stronger than this” she only wrote a prescription for Ibuprofen….. insinuating/assuming that I wanted her to give me painkillers(Norco) which was not the case because I never asked her anything in regards to that……and that “I went this long without wearing a brace” for once I felt like my issues weren’t being taken serious as someone who works in healthcare I wouldn’t even want to work for this company even if they were hiring knowing the type of environment this is already
They billed to the wrong insurance and performed and charged for more tests than they told me.
As a young adult who has bad anxiety and hates going to doctors the ladies at this office are so amazing and helpful I could not thank them enough for how caring they are and how amazing they do their jobs.
Great experience. Nice staff and very welcoming. Thank you!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
