Great office! Dr. Leonard is knowledgeable, thorough and has tips and tricks up her sleeves to help kids feel more comfortable during their exam. Staff is quick and efficient. Have been in and out in a little over an hour with my son for a dilated exam. I used to work for another pediatric ophthalmologist and our patients would wait for over two hours some days for a less through exam. Val in the optical shop is wonderful. So helpful when choosing frames that fit well. Glasses come with a year warranty and lenses can be replaced at no cost if scratched in that time. Just an overall professional place providing quality care!

Deena Leonard is the worst doctor I have ever seen. She gave wrong diagnosis to my son

Dr. Leonard was very patient with my son. He has some sensory issues and everyone was accommodating.

Doctor Leonard went above and beyond to help us through a stressful situation. When our daughter was 4 she woke up one day and her eye's were stuck in the crossed position. The first thing that Dr. Leonard recommended was an MRI, as this situation was unusual. We were impressed that Dr. Leonard called us personally several times to give us the MRI results and check and see how our daughter was doing. We have never had a doctor do this. Thankfully the MRI came back without any problems and Dr. Leonard explained that our daughter had strabismus. Dr. Leonard proceeded to try to correct the problem using prescription glasses and eye patching. We were happy Dr. Leonard took her time trying to correct the problem using these methods instead of rushing to surgery (We tried to correct the strabismus with glasses and patching for around 7 or 8 months). After this period of time it became apparent that this method was not working and surgery would be needed for our daughter. This was the most difficult part of the process for us. Trusting Dr. Leonard to perform surgery on our precious daughters only set of eyes. By this time we felt we were in very good hands. Dr. Leonard took plenty of time to answer questions and make us feel comfortable with the process which was greatly appreciated. We are writing this review two weeks after our daughters eye surgery was performed. We couldn't be happier with the results! Our daughters eye crossing is gone! We would highly recommend Dr. Leonard and her staff to anyone.

The experience was initially good in prep for cataract surgery. My doctor was injured unfortunately and was not available for surgery indefinitely. I was reassigned. I met with the new doctor and thought all was good. Now suddenly I am back with the first doctor, with no notification and have no idea what condition he is in. The lack of professionalism, administrative systems to keep up with recent conversations and proactive notification is alarming. The trust that I had earned over several months was now lost. I wondered if this lack of communication was going to carry through into the operating room. I had compassion on the doctor that was injured but that same compassion was not offered from this practice back to this patient. I am at ground zero starting the process all over again. Basically delaying my surgery at least 6 months by having to start over with another practice.

Dr. Leonard was great with my 4 year old. She held him firmly but gently through the only scary part of his eye exam (those awful dilating drops) and to make him calm down, she told him to find the big fish that lives in the office. The staff was very nice, and we had an overall great visit. I'll definitely come back.

I had interviewed a few eye doctors before deciding who to go to for a surgery, and although all of them were good, Dr. Deena Leonard evoked complete trust and confidence by her professional and friendly attitude, well of knowledge, straightforwardness, and positive personality that I immediately decided to go with her, and I am glad I did.

I had interviewed a few eye doctors before deciding who to go to for a surgery, and although all of them were good, Dr. Deena Leonard evoked complete trust and confidence by her professional and friendly attitude, well of knowledge, straightforwardness, and positive personality that I immediately decided to go with her, and I am so glad I did since the results of the surgery exceeded expectations - my eyes are healthy and back to normal.
