Eileen Beaty Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Beaty has been our doctor for 23 years- she has been our trusted and caring provider and she has helped us raise 3 healthy kids! I cannot say enough about how attentive, professional and caring she has been- fielding all of our questions and concerns from the scary premie days with one of our children to the challenging teen years- she's been amazing. She is thoughtful, thorough and smart- she's been a great resource for specialists when needed as well. our whole family loves her.

Dr. Beaty has taken care of my children for almost 20 years. After a recent trip to the emergency room we were worried and in need of an objective opinion from someone we trust. Her thoughtful and smart advice helped get us through a difficult period.

I don't like to judge people or criticize their work, but this doctor should NOT be in pediatrics. Here were my observations (from a single visit): 1. She showed ZERO skill of interacting with our child or making our child feel comfortable during examination. 2. She showed ZERO respect for what a parent had to say or preferred. 3. She didn't give ANY advice as to what our next steps should be and only focused on getting her lab sample tested, for which we NEVER received a call with results.

Dr Eileen Beaty was the on/call doctor for North Suburban pediatrics overnight for Sunday 11/17/2013. I Phoned her as the live answering service instructed. I let her know that my daughter had a fever, a soar throat and is crying because her ears are hurting. she replied.."You know its very early in the morning, bring her to the office later." I am appalled by her nonchalant bedside manner! I have never had this experience from any of the doctors on this staff before. I was prepared with pharmacy number for her to call in a prescription or offer a suggestion on what to give her. After 16 years of my children being patients at this very costly facility.. My family and I are moving on.

I had an unfortunate experience with Dr. Beaty's billing dept., one that will keep me from ever working with her in the future. It's simply not worth the trouble. The office mishandled my insurance information, resulting in my insurance refusing payment initially. Despite all service providers obtaining our insurance information, her office not only did not obtain it but then delayed processing the claim until it had passed deadline. No returned calls, etc.

Dr. Beaty has taken care of our son since he was an infant and I can't say enough about her. She is smart, thorough, attentive, gentle, and caring. I highly recommend her.
