List of Virginia M. De Paul's Reviews
As a fellow physician, I felt very disrespected by this provider. She completely disregarded my daughter's symptoms, my concerns and misdiagnosed my daughter because the illness was "unlikely" in her age group. The only reason my daughter ended up being diagnosed and treated appropriately was because my daughter gave me her illness and I tested myself.
Thorough. Patient. Kind. Professional. Nurturing. Thoughtful. My daughters have been patients of Dr. DePauls since birth, they are now 20 and 16. My 20-year-old (technically an adult) chooses to continue to go to see Dr. DePaul. Will you have to wait to see Dr. DePaul sometimes? Yes. Patience is not a virtue of many people today. Guess what? DePaul is no-nonsense and thorough, and spends the time EACH patient needs. They broke the mold when DePaul was born. Our family is blessed to know her.
17 years of excellent care for my children. I would highly recommend this practice for your children. The staff/ nurses are extraordinary very caring and friendly. Dr. Depaul is our fantastic primary doctor. They have 24 hour emergency care on call rotations great for new parents. And early morning appointments availible when youe kids get sick. Congratulations you've found your babies new pediatrition!
Extremely rude and unprofessional. Being a new patient I came for walk-in to Buffalo Grove Suburban Pediatrics location and after waiting for an hour politely asked receptionist it this was a standard wait time, or it was higher due to flu season. As receptionist was answering, Dr Depaul walked by and commented " you can leave anytime, you do not have to wait"
Extremely rude and unprofessional. When waiting well over an hour at North Suburban Pediatrics clinic in Buffalo Grove and being a brand new patient, I politely inquired from a receptionist if this was a standard wait time or it was higher than normal due to flue season. As receptionist was answering, Dr Depaul was passing by and commented You don't have to wait, you are welcome to leave anytime.
I found Dr De Paul very unprofessional and her office staff rude. In my experience with her, I felt she didn't take the time to understand what was going on with my child nor care. Churning thru patients to make a buck is the impression she left me with. If you're looking for a caring pediatrician, I recommend KEEP LOOKING!
I saw Dr. DePaul all the way thru college. She is great! I always felt comfortable around her as a kid. She made things easy. Even when I was away at college and would be sick she would help me. I would go to the college care center and they couldn't diagnose anything. I would call Dr DePaul and she would always return my phone call personally the same day. It was never a nurse calling for her. I would explain my symptoms over the phone and she would always diagnose me, and she was always right! If I could still go to Dr DePaul I would. I miss her greatly as a doctor!
Dr. Depaul is very professional and accurate with illnesses. My children have been seeing her for over 20 years. What makes her understanding and special is the fact that she has children and is aware of all problems.
My family just loves Dr.DePaul. I find her very easy to talk to, not rushed during a visit, explains things well, and her approach to care is very reasonable. She has been our family pediatrician for almost 26 years. A wonderful physician!
this pediatrician is not reliable or efficient, she is uncaring. the office is disorganized and cluttered.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
