Did not help me at all. Testicular cyst is still hurting, and he refused to do anything. GLAD he retired.

My worst nightmare - he wanted to remove my father's kidney and said he had kidney cancer. Went to Northwestern for a 2nd opinion and they took one look at the x-rays from Dr. Tan and said they were so unclear that you couldn't even read them properly. After a battery of tests at Northwestern-which should have been done prior to a diagnosis such as this by Dr. Tan, the results were cysts, not tumors and NOT cancer. So I'm certain Dr. Tan has performed/continues to perform many unnecessary surgeries - he should be in sales, not the medical field!

I recently visited DrTan for a second opinion. From the moment I met him he was totally disinterested. He talked down to me and is the most disrespectful medical professional I ever met. I must have not met his standards
