Athletico Physical Therapy's Online Review Report Card

Over the years having had five hip surgeries and several falls I have been to a lot of therapist. My treatment at Athletico in Carbondale has been by far the best. They are compassionate experts. I feel great. No more pain and great mobility.

Thank you Dr Kelley for the attentive treatment. Your ability to listen, empathy regarding my suffering with a long-term injury and most of all your education, training and experience. I've suffered with horrendous pain for nearly 40-years due to failed medical treatment. Dr. Tang's (Washington University) evaluation and your midas touch with dry needling and pt instructions have healed my health. How many times could I say thank you, only to begin to repay my indebtedness. So kind, friendly and generous is the simplest description for all the staff at Athletico Carbondale Illinois.

Thanks to a foot injury earlier this year (no broken bones but plenty of soft tissue/nerve damage), I found myself on crutches and unable to support much of any weight on my left foot. My podiatrist recommended Athletico for physical therapy. Thanks to the careful attention of the wonderful therapists there, I was walking without any aids within 3 months. Now 5 months later I have almost full range of motion in the foot, very little pain, and am able to participate in most of my normal daily activities. Some of the other reviews reference the patient load, and while it is true that the therapist working with me at any given time might also be supervising one or two other patients working with PTAs, I never felt that they weren't attentive to my well-being. Sometimes my one hour ran a bit longer, but I always left with a bit more improvement and new knowledge for how to continue to work on the foot on my own.Many thanks to Isiaac, Bridget, Jessica, Hailey, and all of the other wonderful staff there.

I edited my review based on my last appointments at this location. The therapists are extremely knowledgeable and want to help, but they were overbooked every time I went there. I was even told by a higher up in the company that my therapist "feels bad she can't spend enough time" with me during our sessions. People can't afford copays for overbooked therapists! Cap how many clients can be seen at a time or something. I felt very much like another body on an assembly line toward the end of my care at Athletico.

This location is constantly overbooked! The therapists are competent and nice, but it doesn't matter if you aren't actually getting the amount of therapy you need. I agree with a past reviewer that the therapist to patient ratio is completely out of control here.

Ivan diagnosed my problem beautifully and I am doing the exercises and getting better. I got great care here. I will go again when I am injured again.

Amazing experience. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They truly care about your recovery and it shows. Jessica came highly recommended to me from multiple doctors, and now I understand why.

I have utilized services from the Carbondale Athletico Office for different issues. Each time I was evaluated in order for the providers to establish what course of action would put me on the right path for recovery. Each therapist, assistant and staff member I have worked with have all been professional, but also personable, and most importantly positive. It was a physical therapist with a very negative attitude at a different facility that lead me to Jessica Kelley and her staff and the difference was night and day. I always know when I come into the Carbondale Athletico Physical Therapy office, it is going end in a good outcome and that I will be feel better. The staff is awesome and works together as a well oiled team. I regularly recommend Carbondale Athletico to friends and family, and have let my health care team know that Carbondale Athletico Physical Therapy is the best in the area.

The staff was very nice and helped me out with all my insurance questions and what treatment my son was going to be getting. The physical therapist were very attentive to his needs and what was to be done to get him back to playing basketball. I would highly recommend them for any of your needs.
