Dr. Nugent is wonderful, and so is her staff. I have been seeing her for over 2 years for serious GERD issues, and now have a hiatal hernia. She discussed my options with me in depth, and told me which procedures she would not recommend, AND WHY, and explained why she felt like the procedure she did recommend was the best option, and referred me to a general surgeon that SHE would go to if it were her. Since I had no idea of who to go to, it was a great comfort to know that the doctor she referred me to was who she would choose. Doesn't get much better than that.

Having been treated by Dr. Nugent 16 yrs ago, the care was EXCEPTIONAL !!! That is why, now needing a Dr. in her field, I requested and will wait for an appt. with Dr. Nugent. She is the BEST Dr. I have been to in over 40 yrs.

This is for the gastroenterology department, not Claudia Nugent. I prepped for my scheduled colonscopy and when I arrived, discovered that Dr. Ramkumars's office claimed to have notified me that my procedure had been canceled. So two stars, should be one, because I never received a notification!!! FIVE STARS TO DR. RAMKUMAR AND THE OSF PROCEDURE NURSES WHO MADE IT HAPPEN FOR ME ANYWAY!!!!

I had at terrible experience at Christie enterology. I waited more than a week to hear if a ct scan was going to be approved and no one called me. My wife called to find out the status and was told it had been denied. She asked if there was any way to appeal the decision but was told the girl who was working on it was not in and would call her back however there was no call. I then called a few days later to inquire about it and was also told the girl who was working on it was not in and that she would call be back. Again never received any follow up call. Never going there again.

She is an outstanding Doctor! She saved my life . She listened to what I had to say when the other Doctors ignored what I was telling them. She preformed the right tests and was able to diagnose me. Sent me to Barnes Hospital to be taken care of.
