She made a backhanded comment about my child’s eating habits, to “use less ranch”. When I made her next appointment I mentioned I didn’t want weight or diet mentioned. I got a call back two days before her appointment saying she was fine to not say these things to my child but I should find a new pediatrician anyway. Because I took to long to disclose and she was worried about “our relationship”. Our relationship was fine. Now I know she’s too embarrassed she made a mistake to see us or fatphobic or both. Either way, I like her the least of all the pediatricians now. I loved her before.

Responds poorly to respectful feedback. Was fired for asking her not to talk about my 11 year olds diet or weight because it isn’t an issue. She had someone call me, didn’t have the decency to tell me herself either.

I gave respectful feedback and was told to find a new pediatrician for my doctor. I didn’t want weight or diet discussed again and mentioned when i was scheduling. I got a call back two days before my daughters appointment that we need to find a new pediatrician because she is “worried about our relationship” - and not from her. She had someone else tell me.

We have been seeing Dr. Porter for over 4 years with our 2 sons and love her! She is kind and caring, has wonderful advice for (she helped us so much with infant sleep!), and you can tell she truly cares about her patients. We will look forward to seeing her for many years to come!

Dr. Porter is wonderful! My kids feel comfortable with her as their doctor and so do I. She is always on time, very helpful and truly interested in my concerns. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr Porter is the best pediatrician at Christie Clinic! She is always on time and she can always squeeze us in if we need to be seen. She listens to my concerns/questions and waits until I am finished to answer. She doesn't rush us and she makes us feel like we are her only patients. She laughs and smiles a lot and she LOVES children. We couldn't be happier!
