Homewatch Caregivers Of Saint Charles's Online Review Report Card

I have been employed with Homewatch for 3 months now and absolutely love it. Been in the business for years and this is the most professional, caring and supportive staff I have worked with. And my clients are terrific too!!

I would recommend this business to any one of my friends needing to find a caring & compassionate company for their loved ones. We felt that our needs and wants were addressed in a timely manner and all the staff is excellent to work with. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

I would recommend HomeWatch CareGivers to anyone who is interested in home care for a loved one. The office staff is very nice and takes their time to listen to what it is the client is looking for. I can’t say enough about them they are the Best !!!!!!!!

I have worked at Homewatch CareGivers for 2 years and I am grateful that I was hired. The owners, Alan and Tamera are passionate about helping people and are involved on a daily basis. Employees are family and are appreciated.

Great place to work!!! Great group of people to work with from the office staff to the caregivers. The main priority of Homewatch is that the clients are taken care of as if they were part of their family. It is my pleasure to be part of such a great organization.

I love this company and especially this branch! Lynn is genuine, flexable and caring. Anyone would love to work with and for her. Also the client's ar this location are amazing. I have learned so much from the client's I have taken care of. It truly doesn't feel like I go to work when I go see my client's, it's like I'm helping out a family friend!

-NEGATIVE 5 STARS --- Avoid this HomeWatch CareGivers of St. Charles facility. Their employee they placed in our home on 3/19/2019 - STOLE jewelry from our home. We had her services terminated from our home on 3/30/2019 - she was in the home just 26 hours when we notice my mother's jewelry was missing --- their employee STOLE my mother's jewelry and PAWNED it at a PAWN shop. The employee was a previously CONVICTED FELON that this company placed in our home -- she lied about her hours work in our home, she lied to the POLICE when questioned, LIED when the POLICE had 3 of the rings back from the PAWN SHOP - and only when they kept confronting her did she finally admit to it the theft.We went to this company needing help with home care --- and all they did was add to our pain.  We pressed charges against their employee and still in court on this case.  The HomeWatch CareGivers of St. Charles have done nothing for our loss. They said they were LICENSED & BONDED and did a background check. This is a meaningless statement. This employee I believe was a friend of the OFFICE MANAGER and that is how she got the job.  The company is GUILTY, the employee is GUILTY and we were left with the loss of valuables and loss of memories.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.  Take pictures of all your valuables and LOCK everything up when you hire paid help in your home. DO NOT TRUST ANYONE - for sure not this company

I had a horrible experience with this business!   I know there are other Homewatch offices in the Chicago area so I want to make it clear that my review pertains only to the St. Charles office.   I just saw a 5 star review for the Naperville office which is not as close to me as the St. Charles office, nonetheless I would not hesitate to engage them the next time I need a home health aide.  It was very difficult to even get these people to call me back after leaving my initial voice message.  They were not quick to respond and when someone finally did they cut the call short with a promise to call right back which they did not do.  I kept chasing them down since I really needed help and they sounded so good on the website.  It took over a month to get 'care' started which I did not need as badly then as I did when I first called them.  After a few weeks I had to cancel their service due to the 'care' giver failing to assist me into the car after a doctor visit which resulted in my falling on the ground.  Fortunately no bones were broken but I was bruised and in pain for several days.  A short time later I realized that a few pieces of expensive jewelry and some other items had gone missing!  It would be impossible to say with 100% certainty that it was someone from Homewatch that took these these things but I am reasonably sure that it must have been one of them as they were the only outside people in my home during the time that the items disappeared.  I strongly recommend that you avoid the St. Charles office of Homewatch Care Givers should you require home care services!
